Great tool
I love this tool ensemble. It has proven to be reliable and accurate. The wiring tester works wonders (helped fix a crossed wire problem)

Very easy to use and the entire system was a great purchase for a DIY person
Just did my first splicing. The system works well but getting the wires to line up inside connector is a challenge. The line tester worked great and so glad I got it. Very easy to use and the entire system was a great purchase for a DIY person.

Not as easy as the pros make it look.
This is my very first time working with connectors like this. It was a royal pain in the butt for me. I'm sure that with experience it will come easier. To me it seemed like the connector may have not been the right size for the gauge of wire I was working with because it was extremely tight fit, or maybe it's supposed to be that tight? Anyway, it took me what seemed like forever to get the wire stripped and straightened and in order and then cut and in the connector, but I finally got it done. The product was great and did what it was supposed to do. I did get a cross wire in the sequence the first time in and had to pull them out and re-sequence. I wish there was a tool to hold the wires in sequence while pushing them into the connector (I ended up using a pair of needle nose pliers)

Nice kit
I used this on some old Cat5 that is flat. Worked great. The tester verified that the plugs are on right and wires carry signal correctly.

Seems Pretty Good
It works pretty well. I tried some other cheap crimpers but they didn't cut the wires off when crimping a pass through connector. These make a perfect crimp most of the time. I think these will work for most. For people that will use these every day should probably spring for better quality crimpers. Good for occasional use. The cable tester works. Although I wouldn't rely on it heavily. The little gray cable stripper works well. Overall a decent kit for the money

Works great
This is a great tool to put the ends on cat5 cables. The tool makes it easy to crimp the cables and prepare the wires for installation in the connector. Works great but getting the wires in the connector is kind of a challenge. But the tool itself works really well. Looks professionally installed and works.

Not for Colorblind People!
Received fast and quality of tool is very good BUT, the wires are not labeled and there should be a warning that this is not for colorblind people!
