Convinient machine
I’ve been loving this taiyaki machine! It’s super easy to use, and cleanup is no hassle at all. The plates are removable, so I can just take them off and give them a quick wash—no mess, no stress. It also cooks really evenly, and the taiyaki turn out so cute and tasty. I’ve tried it with red bean, Nutella, even cheese—and everything came out great. It’s compact too, so I can stash it away when I’m not using it. Totally worth it if you’re into fun snacks!

Great beginner taiyaki maker! Watch the 'green' (orange) light!
Gifted this to my niece for Christmas and we spent time together making Taiyaki. We found a recipe online, got ingredients and fired it up. Worked out of the box, easy to understand. Works like a waffle maker, easy to use and understand.Couple notes:The 'green' light isnt actually green...its a faint orange under the green reflector. So that threw us both off as we waited for about 20min for the iron to heat up. After my wife pointed out the light, we got to work.Use Pam or some other non-stick for additional ease of use. Instructions recommend it.Try not to overfill the molds with batter. The batter will expand. If you overfill, the batter leaks out the sides. Tough to clean up afterward.I'd like for the irons to be removable. That would make cleanup soooo much easier, but it is what it is.Overall, for the price, this is great and easy to use. With a good recipe, it makes some delicious taiyaki.

it makes the perfect bite size waffles. very easy to use. the light lets you know exactly when they are ready. only thing i can say is that it’s a little hard to clean but other than that its a great product.

Mini Chicken and Waffles Anyone?
Opened this immediately after it arrived, and started making some bite sized chicken and waffles! Heads up very quickly, is the perfect thickness, is nice and sturdy, and every one turns out smelling and tasting amazing! I love the capacity of it, and its just an overall great value for the product!

Like things with confusing lights, horrible directions, and no way to cook evenly? this is for you!
TLDR: this thing is crap, don't buy itI've been making waffles for years, so I know what I'm doing. The kids wanted something that looked like mini eggos so they could have tiny sandwiches in their lunch, so my full size Belgian waffle maker wasn't going to work. This thing looked perfect, but it was too good to be true. First of all, the directions are REALLY Bad. That didn't bother me, since waffle makers are all the same and simple to use, right? Well after I plugged it in to warm it up, and both the red and green lights were on at the SAME TIME (see pic 1 ), it ended up being the first problem of many.I would've probably not cared and overlooked both if the waffles came out great, but that was far from the case. Not only was heat control inconsistent across each batch, it wasn't even consistent across each waffle from the SAME BATCH.The worst part? They knew this was a problem with their design, because in the mostly non-helpful directions, there's a page that describes the un-even cooking as a design flaw, with their answer being " Cook some of them longer" ( see pic 2 ).If you look at the 3rd picture, that's not even a possible solution, because 1 mini waffle can come out burnt on one side, while near raw on the other!

Works well but too small
For taiyaki waffles the big draw is filling them with various flavors. This waffle maker advertised just that. And in many ways it's a great taiyaki waffle maker, better than those you have to put your oven except that it is too small. The waffles are too small to fill them well and it just doesn't work out as well as it should. It needs to be a more normal taiyaki size.
