This is brilliant. Take the card out plug it into your pc via card reader and edit the date. Make sure your notepad is run as administrator. Save the date and time. (lottery) whether it will be saved when your insert it into the watch. But apart from that random issue the watch is perfect for what I needed it for. Once fully charged hold your finger on the screen just below the display window opposite the camera hole for 5 seconds to switch it on. Wait 2 seconds for it to show you the battery level. Tap screen again in same place to switch screen off them on again.. Button on left press it until heart shows. Full heart is video recording. Press again to stop recording video. Press other button for audio indicated by outline of heart. Stretch the surround of the strap to remove the watch unit.. Bit fiddly sometimes but great for what it does

The camera is a load of rubbish, but if you need to collect evidence in the hope of a public inquiry at a later date, then maybe any port in a storm is welcome? The audio will suffice for voice notes relevant to the video subject matter if you can wait while you fiddle around with the card reader in order to hear them. However, the watch part is the best watch I have had in a long time, only because I have a visual impairment and can actually see it, but that's about all. I wouldn't recommend it for the extortionate price and won't be purchasing another, because it is not worth the money.

Product Review Otadug Watch Camera The device itself is little larger than a lego brick. It pops out of the back of the watch strap. It is not waterproof so outdoor use will be limited; treat it like you would a mobile phone. The instructions that come with this unit are easy to set up. For its size the results are acceptable. It has autofocus. It works fine outdoors and will record through glass windows no problem. The recording will play back upside down if the wearer is looking at the display on the face of the watch. It seems to be intended that with the back of the hand pointing at the subject the recording will not be upside-down. Any movement by the wearer will distort or destabilise the image recorded. The mic works fine but picks up the slightest breeze outdoors. Some reviews mention that the recorder will not play back on their PCs Laptops etc., this is true since the format for the recordings is .api files and cannot be read using the computer’s own software. Now my laptop is not the latest version and is no longer supported by the manufacturer, however there are apps available that will read and convert the .api files that the camera records onto the mini-HD disk. The .api files can be converted using VLC media player—downloadable online freeware from VideoLAN— VLC player can play files that cannot be opened in software that comes with the computer such as QuickTime. There might be better apps out there—while VLC still works after many years in the versions of your software or later. Drag & drop the file from the recorder into your media player and convert it into various formats if you want to publish online or paste into a report; however there might be quality loss—even sound—if you want the best results I find watching the playback in the media player works just fine. Will not recommend this product I had to watch YouTube before figuring out where to plug the charger and how to extract the audio/ video. The video was not compatible with my laptop, so I had to augment it with another app The manual is not explicit, and there is no sign of whether or not the watch is fully charged. It has stopped working as of the 6th of Jan 2025.

Anche in condizioni di luce non perfetta, i dettagli restano ben distinguibili. La presenza della scheda SD da 32 GB inclusa è un grande punto a favore: pronta all’uso appena tolta dalla confezione, senza spese extra. L’utilizzo è semplice e intuitivo, anche per chi non è particolarmente tecnologico. L’orologio mostra correttamente l’ora, quindi svolge una doppia funzione senza destare sospetti. La batteria ha una buona autonomia per la categoria e la registrazione è stabile e affidabile. In sintesi, un prodotto ben costruito, funzionale e con un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente.
