Fantastic paper. Useful, versatile, and affordable.
Fantastic paper. Super smooth, resilient, non-absorbent. It's somehow all of these things yet still very light, so it has a delicate and elegant feel. I used a crow quill nib (a dip pen nib specifically made for thin lines which therefore has a needle sharp point and catches on everything, for those who aren't familiar) with very thin fountain pen ink, and the Rhodia is the only paper I could find out of my options that doesn't allow it to bleed and feather to the point of incomprehensibility. The nib didn't catch which I was writing and the lines came out completely clean. Even a heavy, high-quality drawing paper I tried couldn't handle this ink and pen combination, resulting in bleeding and feathering. For comparison there's a piece of normal printer paper. Many of the letters with the printer paper are distorted and smeared because in a single sentence the nib caught 5 times. The ink has bled and feathered to a ridiculous extent, making the writing messy and terrible. Once again, the Rhodia had none of these issues, and remains my standard paper for personal writing, practice, and any finicky pens. For projects I'd recommend a heavier paper only because it's...well...heavier.When I'm making some important document I want a paper that's a little thicker, but that's not what this paper is for and not what I want it to do. The lightness of this paper makes it perfect for things like letters and journaling. I have yet to find a paper that is so effective for penmanship.

Wonderful paper
This paper has a very smooth finish, perfect for fountain pens and gel pens (and probably any other pen). The ink does not bleed through. Handwriting is easy on paper this smooth. Rhodia is my go-to paper (Clairfontaine, which now owns Rhodia, has similar quality paper).

It's Rhodia , nothing else needs to be said
This paper is the best I have found for calligraphy, hand lettering and layouts! It's very smooth. No worry about fraying the tips on my brush pens, and no bleed through. Pages printed with dot grid, squares, lined or blank. Comes in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and binding types.of Rhodia paper is my go-to paper for practice and layouts.

Very good for calligraphers and Artists alike!
This is an amazing notebook, and I recommend to any calligrapher or artist out there. The paper takes a lot to actually bleed through (I'm talking pouring in FROM the bottle) so that will never be a worry. The paper itself is very high quality; it is smooth and non porous so your ink won't spread when you write. it works like calligraphy paper but it's practical, and thin. You can use it as tracing paper, or with calligraphy guidelines. All in all I highly recommend this, you will not be disappointed.

consistent quality
decent quality but someone should develop a similar graph pad at a lower price. To expensive for what it is but there are not many comparable options

SMOOTH
this paper has a wonderfully smooth surface -- so easy to practice basic strokes when you're first learning calligraphy

Great for calligraphy practice
This paper was recommended for calligraphy markers and I have to say I'm really pleased with the quality. You can sort of see the ink through it but no bleed-through so you can use both sides of the paper. I like the size of this pad for traveling as well.

The best pocket notebook I've found
I've been searching for the perfect pocket notebook for about 5 years now, and I've finally found it in this Rhodia.I've tried many different brands, including 3 of the most popular: Moleskine (fell apart in my pocket), Field Notes (also fell apart pretty quickly), and Rite in the Rain (the waxy surface for the waterproof-ness makes it smudge-prone and no fun to write on). The Rhodia not only is a pleasure to write on (the paper feels thick and rich), it also is nice looking, a perfect size, and durable--I've been carrying on for 4-5 months now without any major damage to it.In particular, I love the top binding, which allows for easy writing. The detachable pages are another nice feature, as is the dot grid on this model--all the convenience of gridded paper (write in a line, draw straight lines, etc) without the obtrusiveness of all the lines.I really can't think of any way this product could be better. To me, it's the perfect pocket notebook.

N ° 19 - 21x31,8 cm, 80
