Good beginner balisong

once you get it out of the box it’s not too bad, some screws just might be loose. The one I purchased had some screws on the safe handle loose and some screws loose that held the handles. It’s very light, way lighter than you probably expect since it’s mostly plastic, even the screws feel very cheap. With the blade shape there’s no way you can cut yourself and it’s very very dull so there’s no need to worry about it not being safe. Out of the box it’s very easy to use and swings well, I just highly highly suggest that you get loctite to hold the screws after you tighten them. Other than that it’s a very good, very cheap trainer that is good to use to start off but I recommend saving for a bit more expensive trainers. If you don’t want one too expensive, nabalis sells very good ones for a reasonable price and I highly recommend them. For the price this is a very good starter and it’s been holding up very well since I tuned it.

This has been the preferred fidget toy of choice for my teenager. It's been sturdy despite being played with constantly, and he loves the design on it!

Own a few spinners and other fidget type devices. For a knife guy, this is the best (and safest) fidget that let's you learn your balisong skills at the same time. Will buy again, as gifts for others.

My son was using this for 1 day and the plastic around one of the screws that holds the handle together broke off. It wasn't a critical spot, but still kinda disappointing. It's also a little on the light side.
