Loved this game enough to buy it. Pretty easy game to pick up and play if you've never played before. Great for older kiddos and even just adults.

Sehr lustiges Spiel, auf Deutsch hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben. So muss man sich selbst einen passablen Ersatz für "You are a little craby" ausdenken.

The hubs and I often host our nieces and nephews and, for those times, we like to have toys, games, and activities on hand that will engage and entertain our little charges while they are here. We all enjoy playing games and we are big fans of games from The Oatmeal, so when I saw their new game, “I'm a Little Crabby”, I was quick to order it, knowing we'd likely be in for a fun time with it. The game comes packaged in a small, sturdy, beautifully-designed and printed cardboard box that makes it perfect to give as a gift. Inside the box, you will find: 78 cards, 28 crab point tokens, 1 turn indicator, and an instruction manual. The game is meant for ages 7 and up and 4 – 10 players are required. The more the merrier with this one, just be aware that you will need an even amount of players since you must pair off into teams before playing. The cards are printed on a thick stock and are beautifully-rendered and highly pigmented with super-cute illustrations and super-funny crab-related puns. The crab point tokens are made of a very thick cardboard and are, likewise, super-cute and high quality. The game is perfect for larger groups of people since it is easy to understand, simple to play, is a lot of laughs and only takes about 15 minutes to play one game. The main objective is to get 4 matching cards from the “ocean” and signal that to your partner through a secret signal that you have decided upon before the start of the game. When your partner sees your secret signal, they must shout, “You're a little crabby!” The monkey wrench in the works is that the players on the other teams may possibly take note of your secret signal before your partner does, thereby causing them to holler “You're a little crabby!” and handily foiling your accomplishment and taking the point for their team. It's a simple game that is a lot of fun because, all the while, you are reading silly puns from the cards and making silly faces etc. which causes a lot of laughing fits among players young and old. At $19.99, I feel this game is appropriately priced, given the fantastic quality of the cards and tokens, but games like these often go on sale, so you may want to wait for a price-drop before purchasing. If you have a large family or often host game nights, this is a fun game to add to your game collection. It's especially good for large groups, the rules are simple to learn, the game is quick-playing, so it doesn't wear out its welcome, and the included cards are hilarious. Tons of thumbs up from my family to yours! I hope this review has helped you to make the purchasing decision that is right for you and your family.
