This is a beautiful range, very lightweight to wear , and goes on beautifully. It will last through a couple of coffees, but then ideally needs reapplying. Gorgeous colours, muted, but lovely- it won’t last all day however- that’s fine, you just have to cast your mind back to the 1980s when you’re always had to reapply lipstick every hour or so !!

Very expensive very poor product would not but again can’t sent it back as I tried it on waste of money 😞

Not worth the money the product was very dry won't buy again

The Dear Dahlia velvet lip mousse ‘Bordeaux’ came nicely presented with the octagonal sided case in a cardboard box. The case has a nice weight to it and there is a small see through panel on the front so you can quickly identify the colour of the lipstick (this is particularly helpful if you have a few from the same range). The top has a marbled pattern and the rest of the casing is a rose gold colour – it is a lovely case and feels premium. The 6.5ml bottle of ‘Bordeaux’ velvet lip mousse is from the Paradise Dream collection and this particular range has quite a few other colour options, all of which are infused with dahlia flower extract which has antioxidant properties and therefore helps protects the health of your skin.‘Bordeaux’ is a lovely deep red/pink colour which is beautiful – it is very easy to smoothly apply with the applicator and feels lightweight on your lips with a velvety matte feel. It doesn’t leave your lips feeling dry and the formula is highly pigmented. The lip mousse stays in place very well and a fairly long lasting but will come away a bit if you have liquids so will need a touch up in these instances.The formula does not contain any artificial fragrances but the lip mousse does smell surprisingly good (not something I would necessarily associate with lip products) as the formula contains essential oils which scent it naturally including lavender and orange peel oils which smell beautiful! This liquid can also be used for eyes and cheeks but personally I will be just using it for my lips. It does also build well and the applicator is good quality.All of the brand’s products are both cruelty free and vegan and use a ‘8 free formula’ which means they don’t contain the following – toluene, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, triphenyl phosphate, ethyl tosylamide or xylene. They also use organic ingredients where applicable, food grade pigments and natural essential oils which is better for your skin. The velvet lip mousse is made in Korea and priced at £28 at the time of reviewing, it isn’t the cheapest option considering the size of the container, but it is certainly a pleasure to use and feels lovely on your lips with a beautiful bold colour – I would definitely recommend.

Most of my lipstick are the the solid variety and I tend to use liquid type less often since its what I am used to. I have a few major brand lipstick I always stick (pardon the pun), this being a brand i have never used and at a cost far exceeding I pay for even the premium branded ones. The lipstick comes in a container quite unlike anything I have seen, I am not sure if I like it. The lipstick comes as a bottle with an angled applicator brush built into the screw on lid. The lipstick is fluid and free flowing enough to spread easily and smoothly enough to create a pleasing and professional enough look. The colour pigmentation is very good giving a good level of colour and coverage however the longevity at this price is not ideal. Overall a huge amount of money to pay for lipstick considering the other brands this is up against was the longevity better then i would reccomend this, but that is a significant consideration.
