Air Blower Seal One Way Non Return Smart Valve for Coleman Lay-Z-Spa, Repair Hot Tub Water Leakage

This fits into the air fitting on my saluspa to fix the water leaking from the pump bottom. No need to remove the old check valve in the spa. It’s got a few o rings that I had to put a little Vaseline on to install. No more leaks, a 2 minute job.

This instantly resolved my leaking air-blower plumbing on my Coleman Saluspa. The stock check valve began to fail and a worsening leak was forming at the flange coupling between the tub and the pump unit.I left the original leaking check valve untouched in place, and have not observed resistance or reduction in airflow by having two check valves in-line with each other. After several weeks of use, I wouldn't plan to ever touch or attempt to remove the original (a real pain to reach).When first attempting to install this check valve, I noticed a tendency for the 2x silicone O-rings to want to extrude out of their grooves. To eliminate this, I used a sharp exacto blade to easily carve a small chamfer on the inside of the hot tub plumbing, and then used my finger to wipe a very light film of wax around the valve to lubricate both O-rings. The lubricating wax was more helpful than the chamfer, and the valve slid into place like butter. An invisible film is all that's needed.After several weeks of use, the joint is leak-tight without a single drop of water. A fantastic aftermarket solution to an otherwise impossible-to-access stock valve.

This piece fit my laguna saluspa and saved me from throwing the whole thing out! We had put it away for the summer and I got it set back up for fall/winter and it was leaking. This fixed the problem and we are very happy to have our spa back up and running. Good quality, it has been set up for 2 months now and no issues.

I thought it worked well until I noticed soon after installing that this thing leaks and won't stop the water from getting out.

Quality part. I purchased to try to repair an item, but it didn’t solve my problem.

This part installs easily right behind the air pipe nut. Repaired our otherwise ruined hot tub as best way installed the original one completely out of reach. Gambling I'm sure, it would last more than the 12 uses we got. This part is well designed and arrived in a couple days.
