This battery is the ideal upgrade for a 2018+ MK8 Ford Fiesta. Fitted to my ST and 1.0 with ease, 75ah over the stock 60ah and it's a bargain, the Halfords 5 year version of this is exactly the same battery but with a hefty price difference.

You might be reading this looking at your options for replacing a Ford 60amp EFB stop start battery that tend to last around 5 years or so. The Ford 2 033 186 or Varta VO22A. This Yuasa 7096 fits perfectly with the benefit of slightly uprated performance being 75amp. It was delivered quickly, in perfect condition by UPS. Changing a modern car battery can be problematic. They want you to go to the dealership, saying don't disconnect the car as you might lose all your settings etc. but, pay £300, or do it yourself for around £100 and about half hour. I lost my engine settings, but the car quickly re-learns as that's what the ECU does anyway. You barely notice. No other info was lost. I've got no idea on the longevity of this battery, hopefully it's at least 5 years, but I see no reason it won't be. My car will be changed long before then. If like me you have a MK4 Focus you will need to unseat the air filter to give you clearance to slide the battery, but easy if you were started with cars from the 70s and 80s like me when you did all this sort of stuff. Battery seems perfect.

Swapped the OEM battery out for this as the stock battery, after two years, wasn't even turning on the interior lights in the dark and lots of other features were dropped off. It's not the easiest of jobs - the entire air filter and housing needs removing to get this bigger battery in. If you buy this on a ford, mind had a spacing unit installed for the smaller 60 amp stock battery. That also needs removing and then this fits like a glove.Battery itself is great. All features that had stopped working have instantly returned. I've also noticed the heated seats and steering wheel heat up much, much quicker now too!

This was a replacement 12V battery for my car. It replaced a similar 7-year old Yuasa battery which had a hard life having gone flat more times than I would care to admit! Nevertheless the old battery has lasted well but using a battery tester (a Konnwei KW208) on it suggested a new one would be advisable because the cranking amps was significantly reduced. I replaced the battery with this one and later used a recondition procedure on the old one using my newly purchased CTEK MXS7 charger and remarkably it recovered to 85% of new condition and could actually have been re-used in the car. So I'll keep the old one as a spare rather than recycle it like I expected.

Nightmare of a delivery. For a week I kepf getting your parcel will be delivered at......then followed by a message at the end of the day saying it was delayed. Same for day after day.Rang up and was fobbed off.The battery is absolutely fine and I got it for a great price.

Good price but pointless. Out for delivery 4 times. Stayed in for it. No show. Waste of time.
