Really good purhase
This is my second one and reordered because I loved the first one. The first one lasted about two years. Keeps coffee hot and turns off if you forget and leave.

Update: The noise is so much better now!
Update 2023-01-20: ikago has listened to us, and created a new version of this cup warmer. They've dramatically reduced how often it beeps, how loud the beep is, and even reduced how long each beep lasts. It now only beeps when you first turn it on and change the settings, and those beeps are much more reasonable in a typical office environment. It might still be noisy for some really quiet situations or particularly noise-sensitive people, but I thik it fits into a normal home or office environment just fine now. The new version works just as well as previously -- they've dramatically improved the only complaint I and most others have. This is without a doubt the best mug warmer on the market now. I modified my original model -- silicone glue in the mouth of the speaker module didn't help, but a squirt of hot glue in the hole did. Original: The adjustability and accuracy of this mug warmer is really a delight. I'm a recent convert from vacuum-insulated tumblers for my morning coffee. I don't make my coffee until I get to the office, so a desktop solution for hot drinks works just fine for me. Unfortunately, as wonderful as the aesthetic design and functionality are, this warmer is totally unacceptable in an office environment. The beep when you turn it on, set the temp, and lift or replace your mug, is WAY too loud. It's louder than most people have their cell phone notifications set in an office setting. I think I'm going to have to desolder the speaker. It's not particularly easy to open this thing up -- it's held together by two different sizes of screws, and strong plastic clips. It's hard to move the circuit board -- there are two springs holding it to the case behind the display, and I didn't see an obvious hook to release them. This thing is definitely not built with mods and repairs in mind. But there's something that looks an awful lot like a piezo speaker under the left side of the board (right side when it's assembled). I tried putting a dab of silicone glue in the opening, but that doesn't seem to have helped much. Next step is to desolder it. Otherwise, I'll never be able to keep using this thing at work. As an aside, the internal build quality looks pretty good. It isn't grounded, but the live wires are nicely shielded, and the whole body is non-conductive, so it looks quite safe to this amateur.

Awesome! (but it beeps)
I’ve had a cheap mug warmer since the beginning of the pandemic. I wish I’d sprung for something like this earlier. It’s definitely worth the extra money for me. I drink my coffee slowly, and my house is drafty in the winter, so my coffee was stone cold by the bottom of the mug. The cheapo mug warmer kept my coffee hot, but the coffee got hotter and hotter the longer it sat on the mug warmer, and the lower the level of the coffee got. A while back, when the weather was still cold, I wised up and bought this fancypants mug warmer, which I love with the heat of a thousand fiery suns. Turns out I like my coffee at 130 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the bottom setting of this warmer’s temperature range but is plenty hot for me. (Go ahead, call me a wimp.). You folks with oral mucosa like boot leather can crank the temperature up while eating ghost peppers like popcorn if you want to, but I’m happy to be a bottom dweller. However, if you care about such things, it beeps. It beeps when you pick up your mug, and it beeps when you put it back down. I’m sure it beeps when you start it up and when you shut it down, although frankly I’ve never paid much attention. If you do a lot of Zoom calls with very serious and important people, I can see why the beeping would matter to you. I don’t, and I hardly notice the beeps. I’ve read the other reviews, including the ones saying that the beeping has been corrected/reduced/eliminated. I read those reviews before I bought mine, and mine beeps. Maybe I got a model that had been sitting on a shelf for a while, or maybe — I dunno. Mine beeps, but it doesn’t bother me.

Smells horrible and beeps for everything
*Edit below original 1 star review* Product emits a horrible electrical burning smell. Causes coffee to taste like an electrical fire. Much like smoking a cocktail imparts a smokey taste to the beverage, this warmer does the same although with an offensive burning electrical smell. I've tried it for several days hoping to burn off this smell but it won't go away. The warmer also beeps too much. Place or remove your cup, it beeps. Change temperature, it beeps. And a double beep after you set the temp. It just beeps too much. I could probably get used to the beeps but the smell is overwhelming and ruins the experience. It heats very well, but the smell ruins it. I sent a request for warranty replacement via e-mail to the company several days ago but have not heard back. I will be returning this for a refund and buying something that doesn't smell bad. *Edit> After a few days, the seller did get back to me via E-mail and offered to send a replacement saying the new one would not beep all the time. That didn't exactly address my main complaint but I agreed saying I hope the smell problem is corrected also. After a week, (shipped direct from Hong Kong) the replacement arrived. The smell was better but it still carried into my coffee. Also heat pad is slightly convex so no mug will sit flat on the surface. That makes it harder for heat to transfer to the mug. I reached out again and they offered a full refund. I've increased my review to 3 stars simply from the very good customer service. They did not ask for the review change or update, if they even know about it. I really wanted to like this mug warmer, and evidently not everyone has the same issue with the bad smell from it. Great concept but mine did not work out. I hope they get it straightened out as I wouldn't hesitate to try one in the future if I read that they have fixed the electrical smell problem.

This Ikago Cup Warmer is Excellent!!!
It's so rewarding to find a company that not only produces an excellent product but also provides sterling customer service. I've purchase numerous cup warmers over the years, because I'm an avid tea drinker. But they all disappointed me because they take the hot cup of tea you place on them and are not able to keep that same hotness. But not with the Ikago. For the first time ever, I was able to place a hot cup of tea, on a cup warmer, and hours later it maintained that same level of hotness. I was astonished. This Ikago cup warmer even had the capacity to heat my tea even hotter. And as much as I like very hot tea, I had to lower the heat setting to keep it at that perfect level for me. Now, I read all the reviews, as I usually do before I make a purchase; and the common concern was the unit beeps each time you put the cup on it or take it off. I thought, well that may not be an issue for me; but it was. I simply sent an email to the company and told them my concern. And this is what blew me away. They put up no fuss but expressed concern, and let me know how much they value me as a customer; then immediately sent me out a brand new unit, with improved technology, that eliminates the excessive beeps. Now, I have an exciting, technologically and visually impressive cup warmer that does exactly what I need it to do. My family was even excited about dad's new cup warmer. If this company does this right, with this kind of care for their customers, I'm gladly going to highly recommend this product, and the company behind it. I'm also going to explore their other products. That's just how impressed I am. I can't imagine anyone looking any further, once you have this Ikago cup warmer.

For product 1 star, for customer service 5
This is an older model they are selling on Amazon. It beeps every time for just about anything. Turn it on….it beeps. Pick up the mug….it beeps. Put the mug down it beeps. Plus had a smell of burning plastic to it. I just happen to go to the web site to see if I could get a manual and find a way to turn the beeping off, maybe it was a setting type of thing. Turns out it was firmware and unable to change. But they sent me out a brand one with updated firmware that had almost all the beeps removed.

Mainly functional, but gotta get rid of the unecessary beep!
Been through 3 of these. First one, the screen just kep flickering gibberish. Returned that for the second one that generally works, but has the dreaded "beep." I read that if you order direct, the newer models don't have the beep. So, I did that. I ended up with a package from Amazon - not the manufacturer - with a model that still has the "beep." Need to go back to the drawing board. The idea is great and when it works, it's pretty awesome, but can't keep annoying my coworkers with the beep beep beep. One thing that I see complaints about is the initial smell. Yes, during the first few uses, there is a rubbery-chemical smell. That will dissapate quickly and gone in a few days.
