The material on these replacement ear cushions is different—not necessarily better or worse, just different. One of my main concerns was whether they would affect sound quality. Thankfully, they maintain the excellent audio performance of the AirPods Max. Noise isolation is on par with the original cushions, effectively blocking out external noise while preserving clarity and depth. Bass, mids, and highs remain as rich and balanced as ever.

The fit is fairly comfortable and cushiony. However, the sound that these create is horrific and definitely outweigh the pro of them being comfortable. Mine constantly echo and make the music sound harsh. Even when on noise cancelling mode, these muffs create a constant echo, similar to putting a sea shell up to your ear. They also occasionally create a squeal (similar when you put a microphone close to a speaker) when I go to reposition them. My original ear pieces never created any of these issues so I know that it has nothing to do with my headphones. I would definitely return if I was still in the return window. Save yourself the headache, literally, and find another replacement.

i’ve noticed that my airpods now emit more sound than they did before. people next to me can hear my music, but the headphones are nice, and the cups are well designed. note that the material is vastly different than the original cups, and is not stitched. the magnets are weaker, but not by much. overall i’ve been satisfied, but will buy apple ones next time.

girl I was totally not gonna trust this but it fit perfectly, I lost my original earmuffs in Las Vegas when it fell out of one of my luggage. Super thick and comfy, AND THESE ARE SWEAT-PROOF! (for my gymrats) thank you highlyyy recommend xoxo

I initially lost the original for my AirPod Max and purchased these pack them for about a year. They’re great if you go to the gym. If you’re sweating, you could wipe them down with the cloth as supposed to the originals where it get into the fabric.

These are cheap, they work if U need something quick but do not buy these. The magnets in the cups do something weird with the speaker on the headphones and they make a constant ringing sound and every now and then they will pop. The pads are already wearing in and are not comfortable after a month of use. The material is also very hot and bc of the thin pads they hurt to wear now. Color and size are okay but I would recommend Buying replacements straight from Apple
