it's great to be able to just grind your own bean when you want to and if you have different kind of coffee maker you can adjust how fine you want it to be grind. it's very easy to use, just set how fine you want hit the power button and that's it, it has auto turn off so you don't have to worry too much. it's not too loud, and with this price it's pretty good

Overall not a bad grinder, I'm pleased with it! It grinds reasonably evenly, certainly better than a cheap pulse grinder, but not as even as a professional grade grinder.There are some warnings in the instructions about not using the grinder for too long due to overheating but I haven't had any issues with that. For context I grind enough coffee for a full 12 cup pot.My biggest complaint is that this grinder creates an insane amount of statistic electricity and therefore is very messy. Some statistic electricity is normal but this just seemed almost ridiculous. However the easy work around for this is to add 2-3 drops of water to the beans before you grind them (I put them in my coffee cup and stir it with my spoon for even distribution). It completely fixes the statistic electricity and messiness is brought down to a "normal" level. See the picture attached.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! Just about one year to the date, this grinder has stopped operating. But first, the collection cup experienced a crack near the opening then a full break. A week later, the motor stopped working all together. This was used in the mornings only. No excessive use. I cannot locate the company on the internet to report, shocking.

I saw that Boly was recommended in a review while shopping for a French press. I was so excited to receive it. It wasn’t very long before the plastic hopper for the beans cracked and then next the plastic receptacle for the ground beans. The grinder wouldn’t quite dial down all the way to the two cup setting, but it was close. All was functioning well enough until it wasn’t. It jammed and stopped some months ago, and it was only purchased last August. I left it sitting until last week when I poured out the beans, unscrewed the hopper and cleaned out everything I could detect at the bottom inside. I plugged it in and started the grinding function. It growled unhappily and came to a final stop, emitting a burning smell. Only ever used coffee beans. It was not abused. I was so pleased to find a good brand that was affordable, but obviously I needed something different.
