Bluetooth is terrible
The device is okay, but the main purpose of the MP3 Player for me was to use it with Bluetooth headphones. I managed to pair them with my LG earbuds, it took ages, but that was the problem. The problem is the max volume is so quiet you could barely hear the music through my wireless earbuds, this must be a software issue or hardware, I tried everything nothing made it louder. Anyone who wants to use this mp3 player with Bluetooth/wireless earbuds be warned.

Some good features, but my search continues for a usable Mp3 Player......
This Mp3 player looked promising on arrival and has some good features, but there are just too many issues with it to make it usable for an all-round everyday Mp3 Player.Pros:- Bluetooth auto-reconnects on restart, unlike many other players I've tried- Find/Play files by folder (not available on all players)- Lock mechanism during play (not perfect, but switching the screen off during playback prevents accidental skipping)- Sound and volume seem acceptable to me despite comments on other reviews. Perhaps they are referring to the inbuilt speaker, but seriously, don't expect anything significant from that.- User Interface seems fairly intuitive. Screen size is decent compared with competitors, and responsive- The storage space comes as a separate SD card, so at least I can re-use that if I dump the player...Cons - Dealbreakers:- Bluetooth connection has momentary glitches every so often (confirmed ok with other players)- The skip buttons are a way too fiddly, so it's virtually impossible to fast-forward through a track without skipping to the next one. This makes listening to audiobooks/podcasts/other long files (or audio you might want to move around in) very difficult.- The device does not remember where you were if you turn it off and on again. It claims to remember "Last Played" but this doesn't seem to work (at least not when playing from folders) and in any case doesn't remember where you were in the file. This makes listening to albums/podcasts/audiobooks very difficult.Cons - that I could live with if everything else was ok:- It isn't clear when the player is Off (or how to switch off) or just sleep/send to sleep and this seems to cause crashes if you then try and replace the SD card.- USB connection is very slow, but I guess you can't expect much at this price point- Slow re indexing following USB connection and indexing seems to sometimes be causing a reset- In-file fast forward is at constant slow speed and you can't skip forward to a specific point with the touch screen - this makes navigating large files difficult.- You have to put leading zeros on filenames to get them to play in the right order (otherwise the player goes to track "10" rather than "2" after track "1". This is only unexpected because Windows lists them in the correct order, so I'd thought this player should do the same.- While touchscreen is ok size, the filename/metadata text is still very small, leaving most of the screen for a graphic when playing a file - which is a pointless waste.- There isn't an easy way to just go back to the currently playing file if you are elsewhere in the UI, you have to jump through some menu options. My intended use for an Mp3 Player is something small that I can use to save my phone battery; small enough to take running; which can play music via folder navigation reliably; and which I can quickly and easily move around large audio files. This player fails, but then so has every other budget player I've researched or tried.... except the ancient Sandisk Clip+ running rockbox (but these are now non-existent and the screens were just too tiny anyway). It seems to me that all the latest Mp3 Players are only intended to be used by a default music audience that just want to play short music songs in no particular order, not longer podcasts/audiobooks/etc that they might want to pause/resume/navigate around. Also the manufacturers seem to priortise totally unusable features on a device of this size like playing videos/ebooks; showing photos and having an external speaker, over just playing audio in a competent way with simple, easy features related to that. Perhaps if you just want to play your music from playlists/on shuffle then perhaps this player will be ok for you, but even then the Bluetooth occasional spotty connection is also annoying. After years of searching, I think I will just have to accept that I will need to use my phone for decent music and audiobook playback, and just deal with the battery issues that implies (i.e. I can probably only listen for a few hours at a time when not charging the phone; my phone is then possibly dead when I need it; and I'll have to replace the expensive phone battery sooner). If anyone has actually found anything worth using for under £50, I'd be very keen to hear about it....

Better alternative to the Ear mounted radios for events
I bought this to use at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where they have commentary over an FM frequency. The unit worked really well, the earphones are reasonably comfortable and cut out a bit of noise. It's quick to set up, although I have not used some of the other facilities. I'd prefer to have an antenna that I can extend, rather than relying on the earphones as that would allow me to use my noise-cancelling ones but for the price it's a pretty good option and much better than the over-the-ear radios that are offered at some of these events.

You can't go wrong
At price point, you can't go wrong! I bought this device because I wanted an MP3 with Bluetooth. At first, I was a bit disappointed. I tried a few ear buds and if they could connect, they were not loud enough. So then I tried "real" Headphones (I have a wall of them) and had success. I am now using a pair of JBL's cheapest Bluetooth headphones and they work great.

The media could not be loaded.
