This sushi press has made my at-home nigiri game so much better! It’s super easy to use—just pack in the rice, press, and pop out perfectly shaped triangles every time. The build feels sturdy for plastic, and I love that it’s a no-fuss way to get consistent results without sticky hands. It’s been a hit for quick sushi nights with friends, and cleanup is a breeze since rice doesn’t cling to it much. My only small gripe is that it’s a bit tricky to press evenly if you overfill it, but once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing. I didn't notice a size for the product in the description, but this product will make nice big rice cakes. Each edge of the triangle is almost 2" long, and the press makes them almost 1" thick. I bought this for making Sushi cookies- but they look super easy and effective to use,Shipped fast. I heart Amazon Prime.

These are extremely easy to use! You just have to learn the right amount of rice and filling, get a feel for it, than boom you can make 20 rice balls! What i like to do is make the insides wet first, than not only press after putting the ingredients in them.. but also I shake it and give it a few taps against the counter, letting gravity do the rest. Make sure when you open it back up, you have the push in tabs facing up, and slowly lift. Rarely do I actually need to use the tabs since they slide right out, but if you do I would recommend being very gentle with those.

There isn't a picture of the best feature which is a moveable piece on the bottom that helps you pop out the rice balls once you've formed them. None of my other (cheaper) molds have this and it really makes a difference. I also personally like the rounded corners vs. the pointy ones in my other molds. Making 2 onigiri at a time is a plus. Lastly, it's made in Japan where materials for food-related products have strong safety regulations and quality control. This is just the best!

Small. Hard to get packed rice out. Flimsy.

I found this onigiri press very easy to use. I made sure to use a silicone brush to spread salt water solution onto both sides of the mold and they came out very easily. They look way neater than I could manage by hand and is much less messy. The size is good too I wear medium size gloves and i found one triangle to fit nicely in one hand.
