Winsor & Newton Cotman 21ml Water Colour Tube - Light Red

Nice paint, invaluable colour to have in your paintbox. Is quite granulating too. Good price for the amount in the tube

Been using Cotman for years. Can't go wrong. Good VFM.

I like Cotman colours. They are generally good value for money. However, I've just had 2 x 21ml tubes from bargain artist shop delivered in one package, and both tubes have been creased up, probably bent up in transit. The plastic bag they came in did not protect them. Hence, they just don't look new, which is annoying to me.

Nice and opaque, easy to work with, blends perfectly with my other branded tubes for nice pastel colours. Would buy again.

This is a good watercolour tube based paint - the black is deep enough and it provides all you might expect from the product. Price wise there are possibly cheaper out there but it performs well and whilst tubes always present the problem that you might not be able to get 100% of product out before you need to discard the tube, the black is a colour that can be used sparingly so it will provide a good coverage/many paintings/projects before you run out

These colours are better than Crawford and Black watercolours, but you get what you pay for, and I recommend these as a step up from beginners sets and for students probably. The colours are nice and punchy, and the 21ml tubes are easier to use than the smaller sizes. I have bought several different colours and continue to buy more.
