Base One Cover 50g UV Gel Builder Camouflage Ideal for French File Off Gel Nails Silcare

This is an excellent builder gel. I am a retired beauty therapist and nail tech. In the city where I live, there isn’t a salon that offers gel nail extensions or overlay’s, so I started doing my own again. I have always preferred gel, especially for overlay’s, as the flexibility of the product, is superior for very weak or brittle nails. I have been using builder in a bottle, since it came out. I find that, for softer nails, it is too flexible, if you want some length, with overlay’s over natural nails. I decided to try this product, due to reviews and a podcast on YouTube, showing the whole process. I started from scratch, so I used a soak off basecoat, and two thin layers of soak off builder in a bottle first. As this is hard gel and need’s to be filed off, using a soak off base, will allow you to not have to file right down to the natural nail, if you wish to completely remove, preventing natural nail damage. It was very easy, is a nice colour with good coverage and is very durable.

What an absolute bargain! I have done my own gel nails for many months, having previously used gels I have ordered off Amazon I could probably get a week out of them and they would have chipped by then or lifted but this is the best I've ever used! It's thick, a lovely pink colour and goes on so easy and smooth. My nails have been done for a week and a half and are growing lovely and show no signs of breaking, chipping or lifting. I am over the moon with this product and I'm going to order another soon to keep in. It's amazing. 100% a must have.

Loved this product. I am not a pro and I just do my own nails for fun. Easy to use, easy to file, strength is less than the expensive builders but it doesn’t matter to me that much it depends how you use your hands/nails.

I've had experience in using gels in the past like biab but I was getting annoyed at how expensive it was getting so I decided to go for something a little cheaper. I found this and thought £7 for 50ml isn't bad and worth a try. I must say I was surprised how much product you do get, the product is easy to work with if you take your time with it and very easy to shape and file. I use it on top of my natural nails and absolutely love it and it gives my nails strength, I haven't had a chipped corner with square nails yet and it's been almost a week, when before my corners would become rounded which I don't like. I haven't had any lifting and I touch water a fair bit because of my job. Colour matches my skin tone perfectly too and been getting so many compliments even though they are just plain! I ended up getting base French pink and thick clear as well. These are NOT soak off so if you don't like using an e file then don't get this for yourself. 10/10 recommend if you have worked with thicker gels before.

This is a brilliant gel, I absolutely love the colour and texture. I was using a more expensive one but swapped to this one after a nail lady recommended it to me. The price is great and you get so much product in the jar! I read some reviews that it’s only for uv lamps not for led which is absolutely not true, my lamp is led and it works. I cure it for 60 seconds, remove the sticky layer and then file and it’s perfect. I also have the clear one. Not going back to my old one

Add Thin layers, it’s great!!! Just need a top coat, long lasting, easy to do infills. I’m a novice, no more nails salon for me!!! 👍

I find this gel fairly easy to use, as the consistency is not too runny. The colour was darker than expected and I have quite pale skin, so I tend not to use it much for its colour, but the colour itself is fine. I find that the gel is fairly soft when cured, and therefore will not last if you are a little rough with your nails (which is not uncommon for most gel). The gel cures OK and is generally satisfactory. It reacts OK to filing, of course due to being soft it doesn't take much to shape it. As a note, I find that it is really important to thoroughly clean the lid and the thread of the cap/container before storage as it will easily leak even if kept upright. I have not had to worry about this with other gel containers; the cap doesn't quite screw on flush which may be why. I don't know if I just have an anomalous container. Overall I find this gel OK to work with. I don't love it, but I also have no real issues working with it.

L'unica pecca è che brucia un po' dentro la lampada, ormai non si riscontra più questo tipo di inconveniente, nella maggioranza dei prodotti anche della stessa marca. Uso infatti il gel trasparente che sembra violetto nel barattolo e non brucia affatto. Tornando a questo rosa, lo stendi con estrema facilità e rimane fermo, questo mi consente di fare più dita prima di infilare la mano nella lampada. Soddisfatta

Das Base One Cover Gel hat eine natürliche, schöne Deckkraft. Das Gel passt sich dem Naturnagel sehr gut an und bessert ihn farblich sehr gut aus, ohne dass es zu unnatürlich oder maskenhaft wirkt. Wenn man allerdings eine höhere Deckkraft möchte, dann wäre Cover nicht der richtige Ton. Das Rosè bessert eben eher aus, als das es gänzlich covert. Der Auftrag ist sehr leicht. Das Gel härtet schnell und präzise aus. Das mittelviskose Gel zieht sich von allein glatt, was den Aufbau umso einfacher gestaltet. Ich bin überzeugt!

Muy bueno, quizás un poco mas claro hubiera estsdo mejor, pero era el q había. Autonivelante, espeso y facil de trabajar ademas de buen precio para ser de 50ml. Lo volveré a comprar, pero en un tono mas suave.

Prix raisonnable au vue de la qualité du produit ! Bonne contenance , Facile à travailler non liquide pour un jolie bombé. Camoufle bien . Super produit de qualité.

Beh che dire? Davvero ottimo. Io ho avuto la fortuna di trovarlo a undici euro. Buon gel cover da una tonalità naturale, bel colorE da poter lasciare così e lucidare solamente. Ha un ottima resistenza se viene usato sotto un buon primer. Consistenza corposa e abbastanza solida, non cola all’istante e si lascia lavorare bene e, catalizza in lampada in soli 2 minuti. Ottimo prodotto , lo consiglio vivamente.
