Hard enough but doesn't hurt
My lacrosse ball used to be the measure of therapy but this is more flexible. The 8 design offers inherent stability.

Does the job but is too expensive
The advantage of it being small is it does get in those harder to reach places than the larger ones but it is a bit expensive for the size of it. It works though but would be good to see dropped by three or four pound to closer to ten. With it being lightweight it means it's easy to transport if you want to take it somewhere with you (would fit in gym bag easily for example).
