This was a like for like change as my other was a couple of years old and was showing wear, once cut to size it makes the gap between the bath and shower screen watertight.

I needed a seal to prevent water running down a shower cubicle door and out on to the floor. As the door opens out into the room I thought the ‘tubular’ seal would be better than a single blade. However, the gap beneath the door was slightly tapered from hinge 15 mm to open end 8 mm. The ‘U’section fitted to the bottom of the glass well, but it was not stated in the Amazon information that the ‘tubular’ section was not flexible from where it joined the ‘U’ section but had rigid sides and a shallow flexible rounded sealing section at the bottom. The rigid sides meant the seal would not compress at the 8mm gap end of the door so it would not close.I have since purchased a single blade seal which is fully flexible from the ‘U’ section and works well to seal the tapering gap.

Not suitable for my application. A really tight fit on 6mm glass and only the bottom 5mm of the seal is flexible so it won’t allow the shower door to open properly

Great item, replaced one that already came with shower screen but wasn’t fit for purpose!!

Used these (bought x2) to form a seal on the sliding doors of a refrigerated display cabinet. Could be made from a slightly more flexible plastic to make fitting easier (to 6mm glass) and to give the seal more ‘give’, but minor criticism really as I’m using these outside of their design criteria.
