Ink time
This is a great ink to try. It will definitely last awhile making the value and cost with it. This is used in many shops and has a rich black compared to other blacks I've experienced from different places.

This is ULTRA BLACK
Be aware that this is Allegory's (ULTRA BLACK) not to be mistaken with the standard Allegory (BLACK). Although you can line with this (Ultra), it is formulated with a thicker pigment load for black packing/saturation. If you wanted something for lining and shading/greywash mixing I'd go with the regular Allegory Black. I use both for what they are meant for.

Best black ink on the market. I have been tattooing professionally for 12 years and have tried every major brand of black on the market. This stuff is magic. Been using it for two years now. It lines well, heals true black, is always consistent, doesn’t separate, blends like butter, Is excellent for soft B&G realism/portraits, but also holds up for bold lining and can seemingly pull a line forever without going for another dip. Trad artists would likely be used to a thicker viscosity. But this is more pigmented than anything else I’ve ever used which is hard for a thinner ink to maintain its richness at thicker consistency. My usual Supplier was having stock issues and I wasn’t sure about using Amazon to buy tattoo ink, but the shipment dispatched from a tattoo supplier that I have heard of. All of the lot numbers check out and it is an authentic Allegory product. Will buy this for the rest of my career.

Just buy the regular black. It's no darker than the original and I love the original. This just has to much pigment. I find if it sits on the skin and isn't wipe quickly the extra pigment dries to the skin and is hard to whip off. Overall fantastic but no difference to me in the " ultra" black.

It’s a very pigmented and mixes well with other colors. It also came with a keychain and that made it 100x better than I ever imagined!
