It does smell, so wait for a good day and use it outside. Superb product, the photo provided shows the difference on a 200 year old painting with zero manipulations of the image - both taken in the same place in the same light 48 hours apart. Very happy.

I use this more so for diluting oil paint for a first coat or painting outline. This isn’t great value for money if you’re intending on using this for cleaning brushes only as it’s a tiny pot!

It is what it says on the tin. Perfect for thinning paint and allows you to work with backgrounds longer (depending on the amount you use it can be even days).Well know brand, trustworthy supplier and always great quality.Note: make sure the room or studio is well ventilated as the Sansodor can give you head rush (it also comes with a very basic how to use guide and warning label that you can peel off from the container). The smell is not strong and the Sansodor evaporates with time but make sure there's good ventilation where you paint with it.I would definitely recommend this product.

Back in 1981 following a promotion my fathers work colleagues gave him an oil painting of the local harbour. After he passed I wanted to clean it up and reframe it, and this product did a great job, it is a gentle formula, easy to apply and really drew out the original colours

Had an original oil painting badly stained by nicotine as you can see in the photos. I would suggest that you use cotton sticks to begin on your own painting but after a while I was able to try larger areas carefully with cotton wool. One bottle was fine. Very pleased with the results. One review says it's expensive, I'd dissagree - what are other options? Repaint? Professional restoration? Best option in my opinion if you have time. Took me 90 minutes tops.

Contenuto della bottiglietta sparso per tutto il pacco, anche con un altro articolo dentro , tutto con cattivo odore, per fortuna altro articolo era protetto dalla confezione. È uscito fuori quasi tutto. Si è sciolta anche la colla del pacco, era praticamente aperto e appiccicoso. Non posso valutare la qualità del prodotto.

Il risultato sulla tela polverosa appesa nel mio ufficio è stato straordinario. Facile da utilizzare anche per un neofita. Consiglio di utilizzarlo con i dischetti struccanti di ovatta più larghi e di non eccedere con il prodotto. Con un flaconcino si possono detergere a mio avviso non più di 2 ma di tele.
