Excellent Surge Protector!!
This is an EXCELLENT surge protector! I have had to gradually start upgrade my smaller strips into larger ones. This has a nice cord length, it’s easy to set up. It also has USB & USB-C ports which is handy! Its compact for as many plugs as it accommodates! The spacing of the plugs is also nice, as it allows for the larger more bulky blocks to be plugged in every outlet vs having to skip some to accommodate the larger ones. It’s much more versatile than other surge protectors on the market! I am so glad that I found it & bought it! I think it’s a great value (I bought it on sale though) You won’t regret this purchase

Perfect Surge Protector for Our Game Room!
This power strip was exactly what we needed to protect all our electronics in the game room. The 8-ft heavy-duty cord gave us plenty of flexibility, and we easily mounted it to the back of the TV stand. With 24 AC outlets and 6 USB ports (including 2 USB-C), there’s plenty of room for everything—even those bulky power blocks. It works great, no issues at all, and gives us peace of mind with its 3,400-joule surge protection. Absolutely no complaints—highly recommend!

has a 14AWG power cord
Concerned about the complaints that the depow power strip trips off prematurely and makes a burning smell, I intentionally overloaded it with a coffee brewer and a 1500 watt space heater set to max heat. The power strip tripped off as it should. There was a smell but it was the cheap 16 AWG cord on the heater that got hot and smelled, not the power strip. Good to know. I'll replace the cheap cord on the heater with a 14 or maybe 12 AWG cord and UL plug. This thing is a beast! It's about half the size of a boogy board, tho I probably won't go body surfing with it. Twenty four power sockets is overkill, but it allows for large wall warts and other things that cover sockets without running out of them or daisy chaining a power strip.Kudos to Depow for installing a power cord that matches the power claims. The power cord for this device is embossed with '14AWG,' (American Wire Gauge) which means it is capable of 15 Amps/1800 Watt loads at 120 volts without overheating, and matches the 15A switch/breaker.Many inexpensive power strips claim 15 Amps/1800, but arrived with 16AWG (American wire gauge) power cords. The smaller 16 AWG is rated for 10 Amps/1200 watts without overheating, so sellers who advertise them as 15 Amp devices are dishonest. Fortunately, few users actually push the limit, but for those who do (one 1500 watt microwave will do) complain of tripped breakers or the smell of burned stuff and hot power cords. The ad copy doesn't say how fire resistant the plastic Depow box is.When it comes to surge suppression, I consider the Tripp Light Isobar Ultra Diagnostic Surge supressor an industry standard. It's rated at 3800 Joules, 15 Amps and metal fireproof box.https://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Protector-Right-Angle-ISOBAR8ULTRA/dp/B0000511U7/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2V4OU6ICQFGFR&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.X4nKnpAoMbtxX9K_odAOhGco0dRU4190tD7HW480B-uWx_44Aqv64vQjXhsRUJS6oToqC0PVIGFPyBgOTSNhqiKPScOdBawrSQr6e4oS_K3sEkOa1sWmcL2tswGW9dbfnBqPVutUNIEV0be4QhGSk_IzZsXtYr70ekgfeTodF7kC_x0EugkC3WssV03z4pU_RXBZp713L1T3wogRht_jP-SWWwOte49w9H6bJ2vlXz8.piwqp5QBR8TtN1okh_lELWm4CkJ2BDwlYzvO2SOK334&dib_tag=se&keywords=isobar%2Bsurge%2Bprotector&qid=1715467937&sprefix=isobar%2Caps%2C153&sr=8-2&th=1Both the Isobar Ultra and Depow have a red power on light and three LEDs that indicate Surge protection status, or if the surge capacity has been used up.* The Depow claims 3400 Joules of surge supression and duplicates the diagnostic lights of the Isobar Ultra. The Depow also has six USB ports. That's also overkill, especially since they share the same 26 watt power supply, so the more gadgets plugged in the less power each will get. It would be gooder if they were PowerIQ and PD capable, but dedicated PD/IQ wall warts are fairly inexpensive.I removed the Depow rear cover to have a look at the MOV devices, but the power board is installed in a way that I couldn't see them. I think the device is well built and might survive a fall or two.*A surge isolator, also known as a surge protector, uses a metal oxide varistor (MOV) to absorb excess voltage and divert it to the ground wire. MOVs are made of oxide sandwiched between semi-conductors, and act like a voltage-controlled switch that insulates with line voltage. When the voltage rises above the MOV's reference voltage, the MOV blocks go into conduction, and when the voltage drops below the reference voltage, the conduction ends. The MOV deteriorates each time it conducts, so with time, it no longer protects the circuit and must be replaced.

Very Handy
This product is working perfectly for my needs. There is plenty of space to plug in the big boxy plus that so many things have now. I use mine in my kitchen and can plug in several of small appliances with no problem. It was also handy when a I had a small gathering and needed to plug in different crockpots to keep food warm. It has a long cord which is really handy because you are not so limited with it having to be up against a wall plug.

Recommend to replace multiple power strips and plenty of USB ports for light weight devices.
Bought this to replace multiple old power strips. I wanted the usb a and c ports for light draw devices. This is NOT a replacement for my PD2/3 chargers for fast charging. Nice and out of the way for cord management. Light weight. 24 outlets are over kill but nice to have with high number of PC/laptop and printer devices. Plenty of room for rechargeable battery packs due to wide spacing of outlets. Includes screws and pattern for wall mounting.

Decent basic power strip
As a power strip, the plugs are well placed allowing for several devices. However, as a surge protector, I'm not sure I completely trust this for my most valuable devices. It does the job for my most basic items.
