An American beauty! This very pattern graced the bed of our ancesters at the turn of the century before vented heating when homes were centrally heated in the parlor or dining area while the peripheral rooms froze to be slightly warmed by diffused heat spent and dissipating.Lovely, functional and a friend in the freezing nights when a hot water bottle enhanced your comfort if you were lucky.

Very nice

This is a beautiful, quality wool throw. The wool is thick but fluffy, so it does not feel heavy and it's very warm.

Although described as 70" long, this throw is only 60" long. Looks skimpy. Very disappointing, especially in light of the price. I returned it.

I have owned a full sized Hudson Bay Blanket in years ago and I thought this one would be the same heavy, thick weight. It was not. It is a nice blanket, but considering how lightweight it is, for the money, you could buy a heavier wool army blanket that would do the job. If warmth is the main goal, get something else. If you just want a nice lap blanket that looks nice this is very nice.
