Wax Factory Branded Beeswax Blocks -1 Kilogram - Candles/Cosmetics/Polishes

Useful as a base for making your own beeswax polish with the addition of pure turpentine oil.Not a pleasant smell and needs to be improved by adding essential oils such as lemongrass, lavender etc. but is very good value for money.I also use it to coat woodscrews when driving them into hardwoods as it makes it much easier to insert them with less splitting of the grain - just a quick rub with a beeswax block as purchased works wonders.

Exactly what we were looking for.

I have used this excellent product on many occasions to make a sanding paste wax for reducing airborne wood dust also as an abrasive paste wax when combined with other ingredients. I have also used it as a finishing wax polish when combined with Carnuba wax. Having been entirely satisfied with the quality of these bees wax blocks I have no hesitation to replenish my stock when required.

Bought these to use on a table and sideboard which recommended using bees wax to polish them, bit disappointed really as expected them to have a lovely fresh scent when applied but no smell at all and also found that the blocks dont polish as well as the tin of beeswax I purchased at the same time hence 3 stars.

Good price, good quality, prompt delivery. Some has been turned into night-lites, and some into wax polish. Even in the raw state I like the smell as it melts. One bar has been added to my leather working tools for waxing thread, and another for waxing woodworking screws.. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again, But it will be some time as this stuff lasts.

Good quality wax, it did what I wanted it to do, that was to make my own wood protector using bees wax, meths and linseed oil, heating it into liquid and letting it set, product works excellently. good fast supplier service. Would recommend to friends.

Great quality; works well as a candle and in face-creams. Has a distinct odour which you may or may not like. I am very pleased with this product.
