Really love this product so far. It has a nice clean look and is really easy to setup and operate. Just plug in, set your humidty and leave it running. During the really humid periods you are going to empty it out everyday but that is to be expected. It does come with a drain hose if you have a drain nearby like our old basement. Now we just use it in the kitchen and hardly notice it when running. Great value, time will tell if it going to last but so far it seems durable.

This seems like a good product and it does remove moisture from the air quickly. However, Amazon shipped it improperly. It should be shipped standing up! Instead, Amazon shipped it on its side in another box with no packing around the original box--and plenty of space between the boxes. The item was apparently damaged because of this, but the company was willing to replace it. I also made a formal complaint to Amazon, as shipping it in this manner can cause leaking of refrigerant, which is serious business. If you only plan to use the receptacle and not the hose, be prepared to empty it twice a day. On a rainy day, it can take about 1.5 gallons of water out of the air! The wheels are handy, and it's relatively quiet although I personally found the noise slightly annoying--not enough to make me want to return it though.

Noticeable results within days. Absolutely love this thing. Despite its small size, it really does the job. I have it emptying constantly with a hose since the tank was filling fast due to the humid conditions. High quality, easy to empty, worth every penny.

Man, this thing works fabulously. I live in South Florida where we just don't have humidity, we have tropical humidity. If you live in South Florida, you already know. My home is roughly 1500sqft. I have the dehumidifier set to 45% humidity. And it does the job very, very well. It's quieter than I expected it to be. I have my running 24/7 and I have to dump the water about every 12hrs. The settings are very simple and not difficult to operate what so ever. I would definitely recommend this unit.

It is very quiet as described but not as effective at removing moisture as indicated in the literature which states it will remove between 9.5 pints (152 ounces) of moisture and 34 pints (544 ounces) per day depending on temperature and relative humidity. The tank capacity is .66 gallons (roughly 85 ounces). I purchased the unit in the summer and have it in an insulated garage workroom where the temperature never has gone below 65. I'm trying to keep the humidity at a low level to keep my tools from rusting so I have the unit set at 30% humidity, its lowest setting, which it has never achieved. The best it ever did was 35% thus far. If it were functioning as advertised, even at the low end of its moisture removal efficiency, it would be taking 152 ounces of moisture out of the air every 24 hours requiring the tank be manually emptied at least once during that period. This has never occurred. It requires at least two, almost full days to fill at the lowest advertised efficiency level (65 degrees/60% RH). In fact since the temperature in the workroom has never gone below 75, it should be removing even more moisture. I am disappointed but will be reluctantly keeping it only because I purchased this model after I returned a different unit of another brand, that was not performing at all as advertised and feel stupid returning yet another item. I would recommend this unit for a small room only, certainly not for someone with similar needs.

Lo compramos para un depa con demasiada humedad, a las 5 hrs ya se sentía menos pesado el aire de la habitación, para el siguiente día, ya había estabilizado el ambiente, absorbe buena agua. Actualmente llevamos más de un mes de uso y la habitación incluso se siente calientita, la verdad lo recomiendo.

This machine is heavier than you would expect given it's small appearance. It works great though and has really helped us battle the moisture in our 5th wheel over winter. The only complaint I have is the smokey water reservoir window, as it makes it very hard to see how full the unit is. I would definitely recommend this for anyone needing to remove moisture in a small space.

I bought this unit for its claims that it was ultra-silent. The initial unit I bought had an annoying buzz that definitely wasn’t quiet. Fortunately, customer service reached out to me and quickly sent me a replacement. Their customer service was exceptional. The new unit works well and the sound is comparable to when a fridge is running. I docked one star because it isn’t the “ultra-silent” that is advertised, but everything else is top notch so far and I am very grateful for an efficient and friendly customer service. Also, the unit has built in groves on the side for easy carry and wheels on the bottom for easy moving.

Wish I could rate this item more because it does a great job at dehumidifying but it makes a consistently loud whine noise and the air being pushed out is above 40dB when it was marketed as 40dB or below. Sadly disappointed and will be returning.
