Dante: Chicago Ruthless, Book 1

A fantastic start to this series. Although ruthless Dante is a great MC. His upbringing has made him feared and fierce but somehow Kat sees through all that. Their meeting is not hearts and flowers but their passion is undeniable and hot. A great story with great sibling dynamics. Look forward to Joeys and Maximos book. Kat is a strong, intelligent and fierce FMC that brings Dante to his knees. Amazing, amazing steamy book.

I really liked this story, the characters seemed well fleshed out and believable and the romance side of it was very sweet, but although I don’t object to spice it does get monotonous when it’s the same description of every move they make when they’re having s€x every few pages. I ended up just skipping over it eventually. It would have been a higher rating if the steamy bits weren’t so boring.

Dante…. I had this book on my TBR for the longest time possible. I was focusing on my physical books, but decided it’s time to clear some of my Kindle TBR, specifically my Kindle Unlimited TBR, and when I look at the 20 books I have, I go straight for Dante. And how I wish I had picked this book up sooner, is an understatement. I ate this book up in less than two days, and that for a slow reader like myself was a record.I could not put this book down. Whenever I did, to eat, to do anything, I could not stop thinking about this book.In my opinion, this is not your traditional mafia dark romance. It is very unique one. I did not expect the book to be as fast pace as it was, but I am happy that it was and it most definitely did not feel rushed at all.I loved this bomd between the Moretti siblings/siblings-in-law; how they would do anything for each other, is so beautiful.And oh my… the spice was just chef’s kiss level top notch.I am so looking forward to reading the rest of the Chicago Ruthless series, and I really hope Sadie does more bonus chapters for Dante and Kat.Sadie you did a bloody fantastic job with this book. Thank you.

I had good hopes for this book, mafia tropes are usually a good read for me and this one wasn't bad. However, it was so cliché at times I couldn't help but skim some chapters. The first 30 percent at least was based on lust and to be honest I didn't exactly feel the connection, there was literally no relationship development only mild angst and frustration that he did certain things that in all honesty she just got over pretty quickly, I could understand if this happened over time but it was an immediate thing that apparantly despite being kidnapped and the fear of who he was, she just couldn't help being so drawn to his caveman actions and his bulging biceps and tattoos. Blushing all the time. Not to mention given her precious history sexually, which let's face it, he didn't really give her a choice to get over her fears , just told her to trust him and of course she did because what had he done up until this point to earn it? Used her as a vessel basically. So that was normal. Cue massive sarcastic eyeroll. Also I got sick of the spice scenes. Yep, me a lover of the sexual tension etc flicked by them because they weren't anything special and there was no tension because as previously stated, they gave into that on like the first ten percent. When it got to the part where she tried to escape it got a little more interesting, because let's face it, there wasn't much mafia stuff happening. And I was so hoping for her to actually have a backbone and milk that one, but again, with barely an apology, she accepted that she couldn't change her circumstances and just gave in, as though she wasn't nearly killed because of his neglect. I just expected a better face off for that. Better grovelling. So as much as lorenzo interests me, I've seen a reviewer basically say the same thing and I just wanted to get to the end so I won't be revisiting this series. But, if you want a quick alright read and you're into that, then go for it.

I've read the ruthless Ryan series and recently seen reviews on this book so I thought I'd give it a read. Dante comes across as cold, hard and unmoving, but when kat enters his life she starts a chain reaction that she isn't aware of. Kat was strong and feisty when it came to Dante but fearful of her past and the hurt she had suffered at the hands of men like him. She was blind to brother's ways and I felt sorry for her that she couldn't accept leo was the worst monster out there. Great read.

A good book with a nice dynamic and an interesting story - I really appreciate the authors’ work on blending plot and smut and overall is a nice book that will keep you engaged.

A bit dark and moody for me but if you enjoy this genre I'm sure you'll really enjoy Dante. Mafia romances just aren't for me.

I really like this one. Who doesn’t love a great morally grey leading man? Dante may be viewed as the 😈 but you know he would do anything to protect the people he loves.Right away there was a spark when Dante and Kat meet. She was a fighter and Dante saw that with her right away. Taking and k!dn@pping her to settle a debt made by Kate’s older brother was probably one of the best things to happen to both of them. As a reader you just knew that the best place for Kat to be was with Dante.Sadie did a very good job at building up both of these characters back stories. Little hints and moments from their past. Kat in her past we know she was a victim of Sexu@l a$$@lt. You get a peak at how it affected her through little moments and simply how she was with Dante at first. But she just felt safe with him. There was not any over discriptive details about what had happened but we learn how and why.Dante was written very well in my opinion as being this horrible dev!l of a man, but with how he was with Kat and his patience with her over some fears she had made you love him. He noticed things about Kat and how she was but never pushes. But once the truth of what happens comes out. Let’s just say nothing is held back from him destroying who hurt her. So the karma on the ones that hurt his woman was epic to me.The spice was amazing yet believable with Kat’s past being what it was. Dante was a strong d0minate man but worships her. He definitely falls hard for this woman. There is a surprise pregnancy in this. And nothing is what it seems when it comes to Dante’s past. There was a few twists that even threw me off.

Me encantó este libro, tiene mis tropas favoritas..enemigos a amantes, proximidad forzada. Te presenta a un protagonista masculino Alpha male, que haría todo por su esposa. el desarrollo de la historia me atrapó.

❤️📖 This is the first book in the Chicago Ruthless series 📖❤️ I don't read to many dark mafia books, but Ms Kincaid knows her way.This book was a perfect start.Dante is a dark character, who obviosly doesn't believe in love, was raised by crueal father, but he was able to protect something ,,good or positive,, in side him thanks his brother Lorenzo and his best friend Max. And his sister Joey had a special place in his eart altought he never trully showed her because his main priority was to protected her.Kat was a hell strong heroin, she survived something horrible in her past and was fighting every day to wake up and go on, only she had to pay now for her brother mistakes and so she ends with Dante. They both dance around not understanding the chemistry and feelings.The passion oh man 🥵🔥 .I loved the plot and the twists, when Kat decided to leave and protect her most important ,,thing,, and then she was caught and this part was the best, when they both had to think about their feelings and what to trust and believe, but ones they passed these all insecurieties they became a hell pair ready to rule!I already read Joey's story and it was great as the first book and Lorenzo is next!!

I have to say the book got better and better, i dont even want to spoil i had Tears in my eyes, it made me chuckle, it was exciting! A pleasure to Read i cant wait to start Joey!!
