It Appears Sturdy
This was easy to put on the umbrella and I think it will work well with it. We just put it up yesterday and don't have the amount of sand suggested, however, the heavy umbrella hasn't fallen over. So far it's working out well and I think it will be even better when we get more sand. Right now we have just a little sand and the rest is water. This fits perfectly with the Purple Leaf umbrellas.

Great price and straightforward setup!
I'm very happy with this! Delivery was by truck and left at the garage (side entry). It came with good directions that enabled 2 of us to successfully assemble it. Initially we only partially filled the base, so that we could see if the upright arm and umbrella was undamaged and would deploy properly. They did, so we added more sand and water to the base. We do collapse the umbrella during gusty winds and the arm mechanism is easy for one person to operate. It's been several months now and it remains in great shape.

Great umbrella, easy set-up, good price…
This is a great umbrella. It was easy to set up. It looks good and works great. I ended up buying the base as well which you must have otherwise it’ll blow over. Instead of filling it with sand and water I just filled it with water and it’s plenty steady against the wind, I would definitely recommend the umbrella.

High quality but difficult to fill
Is the heart quality base for the umbrella however it is very difficult to fill with sand you have to constantly fill and try to shake as there are compartments inside that sand from moving and only have narrow channels. They should’ve more bill places there’s only one place to fill on each half of the base

Let the Shade Begin
I have a initially purchased an 11 foot umbrella. I liked it so much and need more patio coverage, so I purchased a second unit at 9 feet. They were easy to instal by myself and are working great. I only used water in the base, because I didn't have any sand at the time of installation. Since then I have been able to get four bags of sand. Two each placed on the top of each base in the back.
