Hi Patricia, the spaghetti strands are 20 inches (51 cm) long. Something else to note - this is the proper bronze die spaghetti with the lovely rough surface that really holds the sauce...!!

It is longer than the usual supermarket stuff that is about a foot long, this is approx half a metre. I bought it because I remembered how exotic the long purple packets looked in the 60's and we were never allowed to try it. My Italian friend loved this spaghetti as it was a happy childhood memory
