Very heavy duty mount that I feel very confident in its abilities to hold my oversized tv. It’s expensive but worth it.

Ordered the Amazon Choice, said it was rated up to 165 pounds. I put 125 pound 98 inch TV on it and it felt like it was going to snap off at any moment. Returned it got full refund. Bought this one and it is the bomb. This thing could handle any size TV. You will not find a better amount.

Me and my carpenter have been struggling to make my tv level. It is about as crooked as you can imagine and while this shows tilt I don't know how to lock it nor keep it level. I came back here to look for a new mount and when I saw I spent over $200 for this mount I nearly fell over. My TV is a 98" TCL and this mount just barely fits the back of it. There is no adjustability - it just stretches enough to mount. I would look elsewhere and I am looking to replace this.

The frame is not wide enough to center the support bars, so the 98-inch television is off center to accommodate the vertical supports attached to the television. Per the literature, the frame is capable of supporting the weight of the television.

This is one of the only very large TV mounts that are available. The mount is easy to move with a large TV installed. All TV mounts have a huge problem. After the TV is mounted you have to adjust for the tilt and level effect on the mount from the weight of the TV. It is a MAJOR pain! Different mounts have different methods for these adjustments. No mount is perfect, IMHO. This mount has an easy method to adjust for the tilt of the screen. There are 4 different handles that assist in the tightening and loosening of the mount. Still the adjustment is not simple because you have to support the screen while you make the adjustment. The simple fact that you have to support the screen throws off the adjustment once you release the screen. Next you have to level the screen. In order to level the screen you have to loosen 8 very short threaded screws. The SAME screws that hold the TV to the mount! What! So to adjust for level you have to risk potentially dropping your very expensive LARGE screen TV on the floor! Once you gain the courage to play with this adjustment you realize the adjustment is not enough to fix the issue, at least not for the 98 inch TV I was mounting. With a perfectly level mount. All the adjustment possible is not enough to level the TV! I contacted the seller and they have been absolutely wonderful in their communication. We communicated several times to make sure I was using the mount correctly, and to see if they had any ideas on how to resolve the problem. Ultimately we did not arrive at a solution. Right now my thoughts are to adjust the mount so that it is not level, or to drill additional holes in the adjustment area to allow for more flexibility. I would like to see the design changed so that the level adjustment is not part of the security of the TV attachment.
