These socks fit me, my sister-in-law, and 2 girls well (all different heights and weights).They are not thick (about as thick as a dress sock).Down side - the insides are stringy, and the strings wrap around your toes trying to put them on.

First off, I have to say that I did not expect these to actually go all the way up to my knees. I'm 5'9 and have really huge calf muscles. Most knee socks make it nowhere near my knees. But these knee socks made it about 3 in away, which is more than most. They are super comfortable and soft. I'm a women's size 10 and 1/2 wide and the socks actually made it all the way over my heel which most socks do not. I am so happy with these socks. The crest makes the top of the sock a little bit tighter than it should be. So if you do have really large muscles, it will be stretched and will be tight there. However these are the first socks that I found (for Hogwarts socks) that almost fit. They're getting five stars because of this.

Love the color and theme! However, the socks had a LOT of threads on the inside, which caused them to catch on my toes as I put them on each foot. Calf a bit tight, but they stayed up on my leg.
