Lifechanging
I have been using Fodzyme for 2 years and have a subscription through the actual company. I've occassionally bought extra off Amazon to get it faster when I've gone through my order more quickly than anticipated. This stuff changed my life. Being sensitive to fructan (which is in wheat products, garlic, onions, various fruits, beans/legumes, and my favorite nuts) severely limited my diet and made it WILDLY difficult to go out to eat. Fodzyme changed that. While it isn't cheap at basically over $1 per dose, it is worth it to budget for it for me because of how it has let me expand my diet and reduced stress around eating out. I normally cook in a tummy safe way at home and save the fodzyme for treats, select cravings, and going out to eat. Without fodzyme, accidental fructan exposure can lead me to staying up to the wee hours of the morning with stomach pain and diahrea. The powder doesn't really have much of a taste, so it won't change how your meal tastes if you sprinkle it on. I do recommend being mindful of grabbing the package promptly when its hot outside or if the package is sitting in the sun, as the powder is heat sensitive. Letting the powder get to 140 degrees farenheit or higher renders it ineffective. Even on comfortable 60 degree days, I've accidentally left the package in the sun for a couple hours, and when I brought it in and stuck a thermometer in the powder, it was 90something degrees.

A must if you have to eat low FODMAP.
I've had SIBO for almost a decade at this point, so I'm quite acquainted with using enzymes to help me digest my food in a way that doesn't leave me miserable in the bathroom afterwards. This powder is an absolute must if you're hesitant about any food you're eating. If you have any kind of special diet, you know the mental girding you do to ask a server or whoever about what's in the food you're about to order or eat. Sometimes they have the answers, often times they don't, and often they are given bad information because people think I'm just being difficult. I can make educated guesses about what's safe this far into my SIBO journey, but sometimes people don't think about garlic powder or onion powder, or what have you. This is especially handy for decanting into a smaller container (I use little squeeze bottles from Daiso Japan that I think are intended for salad dressing in packed lunches) when you're eating away from home or traveling. When I go home to see my family in Georgia, when I tell servers at a restaurant that I can't have any garlic or onion, they say to me, "Oh, there isn't much in it! It'll be fine!" not understanding that no, it actually won't be fine, and you won't be around when it's not fine. So this powder is super helpful for that. Yeah, they sell the small packets, but sometimes I need more powder for a meal than one little packet provides, so that's why I like to be able to decide what amount I'm dispensing. You don't notice the taste at all, unless you get some stuck to the roof of your mouth like I do when I eat spicy tuna on crispy rice. Then it has a slightly subtle sweet taste, but nothing that overpowers the food at all. I'm able to eat a small amount of avocado with this, which wasn't the case before I started using it. It's pricey, for sure. But it's worth it to me to introduce some more variety of vitamins and nutrients back into my diet in a way I couldn't before. I hope my long-term health sees the dividends.

Eat a little more freely on the Fodmap diet!
A SIBO/IBS GI doctor at a top 20 hospital recommended I try these. Verdict: Expensive but worthwhile if you can afford it or keep for a special (and riskier) meal. After a loooong history with fodmaps, I think the cost/benefit is worth it and am going to get a subscription. Tastes a bit malty and sweet (so harder to pair with salty). It worked (!!) and improved digestion but only to a point -- as in I could eat a little more fodmap food without bloating and cramps but I couldn't go to town and eat with pre-IBS abandon. I am wheat/gluten sensitive and these were fine for me. For savory food, I put a little on my tongue swallow then eat a bite and repeat. READ the DIRECTIONS! First and foremost, it doesn't work for ALL fodmaps, only certain ones. They include a short card with some info, and suggest you download the Monash Fodmap App to help you with types of fodmaps per food item. You can't use on food that's too hot and you need to masticate (chew) thoroughly to mix the enzymes. Consider buying the at home container to save money instead of the individual packets if you don't need the on the go version. Good luck and good eats!

Good stuff!
This stuff is the only thing that allows me to actually eat food anymore after a bad bout of food poisoning. It's nearly flavorless and works for almost everything (I still can't eat fresh onions). I just wish it came in capsules instead of having to measure the powder. I do appreciate the updated spoons, which are green, making them easier to see, and have longer handles, so they don't get lost in the powder.

Made My Symptoms Worse
UPDATE: Seller made this right and refunded my money. So while I'm still extremely disappointed that this product did not work for me, I appreciate the seller/company reaching out to me and refunding my money. Original post: I would give zero stars if I could. After months of looking into this product, watching videos, and reading reviews (the majority of which were positive), I decided to go ahead and order it, despite the cost, thinking if this actually can help with my ongoing digestive struggles it will be worth it. Well, about three hours after trying it - per package instructions, I spent the next two hours in the bathroom with repeated episodes of diarrhea. This product made things far worse for me. If it helps some people, great, but it had the opposite effect in my case. And the kicker is that I'm being told it's not eligible for return/refund. So I'm out almost $70. NOT a happy customer.

This changed my husband’s life
This product changed my husband’s life. He has IBS - specifically, problems with mannitol, GOS, and fructans. Mannitol was easy enough for him to avoid, but avoiding fructans was very difficult and led to a very restrictive diet and a lot of weight loss to the point of being quite underweight. He didn’t experience much joy in food, and as an as a family that had previously loved to eat out and enjoy all different kinds of cuisine, that was gone from his life. And even though he was eating a very restrictive diet, he still often experienced problems. (The monash app was his guide, and they frequently re-categorized products anyways so it was constant confusion .) At first he was skeptical of this product, thinking it was perhaps a gimmick or scam, but I convinced him to give it a try. He was pretty surprised at how well it worked at first, but it wasn’t perfect and although it gave him some relief (which he considered a victory), he still wasn’t entirely sold. But over time, he got better at using it - it took some trial and error for him to figure out how best to get it to work for him. By this I mean that he learned to adjust the serving size of this powder. The serving size can be confusing, such as when when eating out at restaurants, because you’re not always sure of everything that could be in a dish or the serving sizes of the ingredients in the dish. And he is more sensitive to some foods than others, so he uses a little more for those. And for some raw fruits, this seems to work, and for others, it does not…at least for him. We’ve concluded that each person’s gut must be so unique that it varies some for different people so may take some tinkering. Having said all of that, he has been using this for about a year and a half now, and he does not leave home without it. He has an ongoing subscription to this product, and although it is expensive, we have decided it is worth it. He does not hunch over in pain anymore for hours. Our family can eat out at restaurants again. He enjoys the foods that he has always loved, although there are still about 6 to 10 foods that he knows to avoid. Essentially, he has food joy back in his life again. And as his wife, I see that it has impacted his mood in his everyday life. He’s happier and less blue. We are so thankful for this. But please, if you decide to buy this product and it doesn’t completely work at first, give it some time and try it in different ways and at different doses.

Used for garlic & onion sensitivity
Fantastic; recommended by gastroenterologist. Used for garlic & onion sensitivity, works surprisingly well! We have a small container for home and packets for backpack/travel.
