The oil change time came and the nut on the filter rounded after 1 socket turn. I had to hammer a screwdriver into the filter and make a mess removing it. The nut is made of aluminium (!) and is soft as marshmallow. The filter was torqued to 11Nm and still it couldn't handle it.

Having a 17mm nut welded on to the bottom of the filter makes this a lot easier to install and remove from the bottom of my BWM motorcycle. It took me ages to get the original filter out, even with the correct edge socket tool.

Good filter with safety wire holes predrilled in the top nut. No need for silly filter removal tool for my BMW bike. Just use standard socket to remove or install.

Quick delivery. Comes with plastic film over business end of the filter so little risk of dirt getting in before fitting. Yet to put it on the bike but don't anticipate any issues.
