The telescope is fairly priced in my opinion. It's a nice new addition to my telescope collection. I especially like have this one for portability. When I am traveling far and having to pack or if I am hiking into an area to check out the stars, this is my new preference, since it is nice and light. The bag is perfect for my use.Also, the telescope looks really nice! I really like the white version and it's nice and easy to see at night time. I used to use my phone a lot to take pictures so I love the phone mount for this telescope. Definitely a great feature.The design of the telescope itself seems well made. I have had other telescopes that broke easy, but this one seems like it is strong and will last. Overall a pretty nice telescope for the price.If you have never got your telescope out and looked at the moon, then you are missing out. It is one of the most amazing things to see with your own eyes through a telescope like this. You won't regret it!

Could have used better instruction for use, but it does work

I was surprised to see this was on sale for $40 off when I got it. It’s such a nice telescope for the price. I’m still working on figuring out all the gadgets, but so far, I’ve gotten some good views of stars and the moon! The compact case it comes in is cute, and if you struggle with following written instructions, there are a lot of drawings to guide you through the setup. Now I’m just looking forward to the next full moon to get some good phone pics of it with the phone attachment!

Given the price, I was expecting to receive a very low-quality telescope that was much more for kids than adults (that's what I was buying it for anyway so I wouldn't have complained). I'm surprised to say that everything is actually really well-built- the tripod is made of metal and it's very stable, everything comes in a nice bag, and many different lenses are included for different zoom levels. The glass quality definitely leaves a bit to be desired, but everything else impressed me, so this is now used by the adults almost as much as the kids it was intended for. The only thing I don't really like is the phone holder, I think it could work with some phones but on my iPhone 14 Pro Max it was very difficult to keep lined up and get decent pictures. It's easy enough to just hold the phone over the lens if you want to take a photo, but it would have been nice to use the phone as a sort of 'monitor' so multiple people could look at the phone's screen at once rather than having to individually look through the telescope. Not the end of the world, I'm still very happy with the kit overall.

The media could not be loaded. This telescope doesn’t disappoint! It is exactly as per the specifications mentioned.Few things I like about it when compared to other telescopes I have used before:1. Sturdy steel legs instead of plastic, this gives a strong base.2. Nice stable mount, that is stable and doesn’t shake.3. The mount has markings and that allows to easily angle the scope and locate objects.4. The red dot finder scope is really easy to set the object in center, unlike the crosswire finder that might get difficult sometimes.4. A tray to hold the lens while sitting and viewing the night scope.5. Portable bag to pack the scope and lens safely while going on a trip or carrying it on to hilltop.It was great to see the moon through this, can’t wait to see other planets like Jupiter and Saturn.

The directions were horrible. Definitely written by someone who doesn't understand English. The picture on the box helped. The red dot doesn't even come close to the object to find. The 25mm lens was the only one that was useful. The rest were a joke. Not sure which phone is was made to hook up with but not my iPhone. Trying to tighten the telescope down once spotting the moon, the telescope would not stay in that position. I had to tighten it down above the object/moon and then when I let go, it would move to the moon. No chance of using it on stars. I tried using it in the day and it was still frustrating. Don't waste your money or time on this one.

This telescope was bought for both the shore house and my residence. I have three telescopes now, and while the first two are excellent, this one is a major improvement. I'm amazed at how comfortable I've become with the moon. I can use other people as landmarks to find craters. This telescope is well worth the entire purchase price! Opening the box makes it appear much more solid.We see a variety of birds, dolphins, and even a breaching whale in the ocean from the shore house.There are no tools required for the setup or adjustment of this telescope. It's not your typical kid's toy telescope—rather, it's really hefty. My 16-year-old son and his spouse were ecstatic and taken aback by how simple it was.
