NiSi Macro Focus Rail NM200s - 360° Rotatable Stable Macro Slide/Macro Adjustment Slide/Macro Focusing Rail for Macro Photography

I got this because I had a fixed focus ultra macro lens. The camera fitted onto the arca-swiss adapter easily and the whole camera assembly was positioned easily for the stacking run. It worked perfectly making the alignment of 100 images for stacking a dream for the program. This is a really nice piece of kit and I highly recommend it. I even use it on my tripod out the the field.

The rail looks like a top quality product and is nicely packaged, however in my case, as soon as I started rotating the aluminum knob I felt an eccentricity and friction with the base in certain positions of the knob. I actually had a similar issue with another customer reported, the distance between the circular knob and the base is not equal on the whole circumference and on one side there is a gap of half a millimeter or so while diametrically opposed there is no gap at all. I unfortunately had to return the rail, at such a price I can't accept any issues.

This is my fourth (and most expensive) macro rail over the years. As you gain experience, you realise the shortcomings of your equipment. My first macro rail (very cheap) moved side-to-side as you cranked it!I'd decided I needed something with accurate markings - not just on the rail, but on the crank. This Nisi fitted the bill.When this rail moves, you can tell it's made with decent materials and precision engineered.BUT - the unsung 'killer feature' is the push-button that disengages the drive - so you can quickly move the camera plate. This isn't just a 'convenience' - it allows you to find the 'Back Point' and 'Front Point' efficiently. This feature alone is worth the extra cost over the cheaper Nisi rail.Top Marks to Nisi - I suspect a macro enthusiast was allowed to design this piece of kit!

Great piece of kit but I got a flawed copy that had it's knob slightly off kilter. this made it have friction one way and moved stuttery when it had a camera attached. One of the metal measurement marks (not sure what to call them) on the slider was also bent out of place too so it wasn't as actuate as the other sides. Neither of these are acceptable for the price this costs to me so hopefully my next copy doesn't have these issues (I've not seen anyone else online have these issues).

I have tried cheaper macro rails but this one is on another level.Superbly engineered. It is akin to a Rolex watch for quality and design. I could have gone for the cheaper option that has a lever to make course adjustments but, it also has an oblong fine adjustment knob which means I had to reposition my hand after every 1/2 of a turn.This one has a circular adjustable knob which makes focusing far more accurate and easier.

Only used a few times but it is a good piece of equipment.

well engineered very tidy looking performs well I like the addition of the scaled knob rather than the crank they had before a little expensive but that is what you have to pay for quality I suppose ,I'm happy with this purchase.

The clamp's jaws don't open wide enough to accept several of my arca-swiss style plates and lens feet via the normal mounting method. Any plate wider than 38.00mm won't fit. In the attached picture, a lens foot that is 38.50mm wide, won't fit through the fully open jaws. However it can be slid into the clamp via the ends of the clamp if the anti slip safety screws on the underside of the plate/foot are removed.Admittedly it is the third party plates and feet, not the clamp, that deviate from the arca-swiss specs, but an extra 1mm of tolerance in the clamp opening would have been beneficial.Apart from the above problem the rail is sturdy and works well.Check the width of your arca-swiss style plates and feet before purchasing this item.

This rail is just what I needed, a light, compact rail that I can take out into the field to shoot focus stacks of plants, flowers, fungi, insects and other in situ subjects. Yes, I do own a StackShot rail and controller and yes, I have put everything into a backpack and used it in the field, but holy crap is it ever a lot of gear to haul around! I have also done stacks by simply turning the focus ring of a shorter macro lens but to get close to a subject in the wild I really need my ED Micro Nikkor 200mm, and to try to turn the focus ring by an amount equivalent to 10μ is next to impossible. Did I mention that I also carry a pair of LED light panels in a Fanny pack? This NiSi rail makes field work possible and enjoyable.

Este raíl ocupa un buen punto medio entre un rail normal o habitual y un tornillo micrométrico, funcionando con una precisión aceptable para magnificaciones medias 3-4:1 y con una buena suavidad. Con este rail se pueden hacer apilamientos de un buen montón de fotos si necesidad de usar el mencionado tornillo micrométrico

Partiamo dalla spedizione che come sempre nei tempi previsti un punto per amazon imballo perfetto oltre alla confezione originale un sovvraimballo ottimo. Nella confezione oltre alla slitta c era una piastra arcaswiss e una custodia che fa sempre comodo.La slitta alla vista e tatto si presenta solida e ben costruita un giro di manovella corrispondente a uno spostamento di virca 1 mm ,secondo me è uno strumento indispensabile per macro fotografia e focus stacking, sempre a mio avviso è meglio montarla su un tripiede per avere più stabilità prodotto consigliato

Benutze die Schiene für Fotostacking denn nicht jeder hat das geld für eine motorisiert schienebin ganz zufrieden mit der schiene nur weis ich nicht für was die füsschen sein sollen

大げさではなく、必要な機能が全て備わっている素晴らしい製品です。他社の製品もいくつか使ってみましたが、結局この『NiSi NM-200S』に落ち着きました。iShootやHaoge FM-160の３倍近い価格ですが、それ以上の価値があると思います。
