This purple straightening treatment is very pigmented so it turned my white hair purple!! But I know it’s only temporary til I wash it in a few days. The directions are a little confusing because it says not to wash it out completely but I definitely didn’t want more purple in my hair. So I may have rinsed too much. In any case, after blow drying with a round brush dryer and following that with 10-12 passes per small section with a flatiron, I did get a super straight super smooth finish, although my hair was quite purplish. I did leave the mask on my hair for the full 60 minutes because it’s curly, coarse and white so I figured it would take the full time to straighten out. I usually use Peter Coppola’s purple keratin treatment (available on his website). That one only takes 30 minutes but you do have to comb it constantly which is a pain. There was no mention of doing that with this purple keratin treatment, so I didn’t bother. The Coppola mask only lasts me about 6 weeks even tho I use all keratin safe products. I’m hoping this one lasts a lot longer because all of them are messy and a pain to use iykwim. At least the initial results are really nice. We’ll see how it holds up after a few washes, that’s the big test. I use the Alaparf Lisse Keratin shampoo and conditioner and they’re both fantastic. It’s an Italian brand here on Amazon. The make the very best sulfate free shampoos for color treated hair that not only cleanse beautifully but keep hair clean longer, which makes color last longer. I also love Labo-H Pear and Freesia shampoo but it’s not on Amazon (google it). It’s so beautifully scented and the scent is so unique that strangers compliment me all the time. It’s an incredible shampoo too. And when paired with the K18 Mask…chef’s kiss! A perfect combo for color treated and keratin treated strands. Plus the Labo H shampoo makes hair grow FAST! Don’t sleep on Korean/Japanese hair care like Unove, Fino, Elizavecca and Tbusaki mask.

Very good product, easy to use. it has not unpleasant smell or fumes. Hair feels soft and frizz free. I really liked it. I would buy again.

It doesn't smell strong, it's organic, I used it with my daughter and it's spectacular. The truth exceeded my expectations.

I bought this product with zero expectations. My hair is long and straight, but if I don’t maintain it, it gets very frizzy. Every three to four months I go to the beauty salon and spend hundreds on botox, keratin treatments, etc. I did some research to find a product that, even if it wasn’t salon-grade, could give a similar effect—meaning noticeable shine and softness, not like any regular conditioner or treatment that doesn’t really make a difference. In summary, I washed my hair with the clarifying shampoo that comes with the treatment to remove buildup. My hair was super clean and since there was no conditioner, it felt pretty stiff. I proceeded to blow-dry it with my fingers (just to remove the excess water and leave it damp), as the instructions say. Then I put on latex gloves and started applying the product with a hair-dye brush. I applied it evenly, leaving about one finger’s distance from the roots. I applied it all the way to the ends. With the gloves, I spread/massaged the product thoroughly to make sure it was distributed perfectly. I left it on for exactly 60-65 minutes. During that time, the product dried and the hair becomes hard/crunchy. Finally, I got in the shower and rinsed the product out. That’s when I saw and felt the difference. My hair was super, super soft and silky—the same effect I get when I have a botox treatment done at the salon. I proceeded to blow-dry it and instantly started to see the shine and softness. I dried my hair in less than 15 minutes. Then I flat-ironed it as the instructions recommend, section by section. That’s when you see the smell and the steam from the product doing its job, and the shine coming through like magic!!! In fact, as the salon product when blow drying the hair I felt my eyes a little bit itchy. I never write reviews but good stuff is worth sharing. In sum, if you don't want to spend a lot of money in the beauty salon and want a silky non-frizzy hair, I strongly recommend this product. I did not gave it 5 stars since it is not a salon based product.
