My hair is black after dying it. I had loads of greys. I first dyed with henna. Then applied indigo after washing off the henna. You must mix it with luke warm water. It gives a very dark black. I didn't use any shampoo. Simply washed off with water & 2 days later washed off with shampoo. The colour will stay for about 4 weeks. Great. I love it. Finally my hair it black & I will keep buying. Thank you

I bought this product but didn’t use it yet because of cold weather. As I know, henna catch cold so fast. One thing I didn’t like, the expire date is really near like June 2024. Feels like scam !

Don't use this product.I recently buy this and got severe allergic reaction.Also still remain hair gray in colour.

Excellent products from Davis Finest as usual. I used indigo with herna. Using a bit more indigo than herna in order to achieve a black colour. As the herna can make the hair stiff sometimes, I added aloe Vera powder, and slippery elm, I also added a bit of aloe Vera juice to the mix, using water to bind it all into a consistency of thick yogurt.I initially combined the herna with the other ingredients and left it overnight covered in an airing cupboard.When I was about to use it next day I made a separate mix of the Davis Finest indigo and combined this to the herna mix. I used this immediately as a hair mask on afro hair leaving this in for 4 hours covering the hair with cling film.I rinsed the mask out after 4 hours and my hair was the black colour I desired and it had covered most of my grey hairs also.There was no staining to skin and the hair was more thicker but not stiff. I then applied conditioner and rinsed this out at the required time. I applied the mask to already cleaned hair and scalpThere are other ayurveda powders from Davis Finest like Amla and Brahmi that I would sometimes add to this mask that have all been beneficial to my hair.I highly recommend this indigo powder and all others mentioned here, depending on how one would desire to use them of course.

My hair is naturally dark brown and curly. I blended Indigo with the Davis henna powder of 5:1 which resulted in a wonderful dark brown that also covered my greys. I’m delighted with it. Suggest you trial a small section of hair first to get the colour right. I’ll go for a lighter shade for the summer which is easy enough to do by just juggling around with the mixture ratio and timings. It’s quick easy to use and comes with easy to follow instructions and timings. Remember to mix the henna first and ideally leave over night. Then add in the amount of indigo you need for darkness and use straight away. My previous henna colours from Lush just didn’t give me the depth of colour. I was almost ready to give up and go back to chemical colouring. I would definitely recommend using these Davis hennas for non chemical grey coverage, plus it leaves the hair shiny and soft.

I've ordered the item of black/ brown, but it was shown result of red/ ginger colour, it seems getting lighter colour each times using the products. I would be most grateful if you could give more details results it might be happened.Best wishes,
