Extended 12" 290mm Hideaway Long Reach Cistern Lever Handle in Chrome

I had struggled to find an extension kit longer than 9" before seeing this item on Amazon. It was perfect after shortening the bar sightly and very easy to fit to the cistern. The flush handle is decent quality and the threaded extension section is plastic which will avoid any corrosion, which is what had happened to the replaced extension which was metal.

Great product would use again

This was a good, robust piece of kit but I had to reduce it to 6 inches to fit the cistern. It took a bit of re-engineering but it seems to be holding up and working well (touch wood) so that's a testimony to the quality of the materials.One operation that I had to work around was that I wanted to drill a ole through the shank to fit a retaining screw but the material is so robust (hardened steel or chrome or something) that my drill bit wore out without making much of a dent in the shank! Very impressed!

Just what I needed to fix a pesky hideaway cistern - cut the bar to the desired length, screwed the flange backnut behind the tiled boxed-in section to hold it securely and the other flange nuts to the cistern to support it there, and all was looking good.There's a split pin to stop the handle and shaft from being pulled outwards - you can drill a new hole after cutting the bar to put it back through. However, I cut the end off the previous lever, slid that all the way up and tightened the screw to hold it in place, which gave a perfect fixing with no slack, more easily than drilling a hole in just the right place. I do wonder if they should consider using a small nylon block/ring with a grub screw to secure it as a more convenient retaining fixing rather than a split clip through a hole?Anyway - looks smart, the circular surround was big enough to cover the rough-looking hole the old one was in, and now the downstairs toilet in our new house flushes properly - so I'm a happy camper.

It's really long, but I needed to order this length as others were just too short.I found it easy to cut to length and drill new hole for sleeve retaining split pin. Did the job for the cloakroom loo.Doesn't show on picture but you get lever for syphon plunger as well so no need to order separate.

I would say once you remove the split pin everything is much easier.This product was perfect for my needs. Good quality and sturdy enough for me. I would recommend this product.

It's a little deceiving at first because it looks as if it would fit straight in, but before the handle there's a part which sticks out which allows the handle to stop going up or down. To far. The problem is I had to cut wood to fit this which wasn't in the pictures.It works and does the job once fitted but I'm let down that I had to cut wood in order to fit this notch for it. And wish I knew before hand. I found it hard to fit an old system unit and the arm that comes with it is a little awkwrd to use.

Its a fully working bog handle . Finish is very good . No issues.Seller customer service is also very good .
