What you get is the Draper Expert 35574, a top quality crimping tool, regarded as one of the best, and nearly 600 assorted connectors, all nicely packaged in a substantial metal box. Given that the tool alone retails at about £18, and let's say the connectors are worth about £26, that means you are paying around £10 for the box, which is probably not unreasonable. So, if the package, and the price, meet your requirements, go for it, but you should consider whether buying separately what you actually need, when you need it, might not give better value. It would be helpful for the seller to list what connectors are actually in the box. Not all possibilities are included - no yellow spades for example. However, from the high-resolution website image, I was able to get a good indication of what I actually received.For me, the box was well worth having. It is of very good construction and certainly up to the job, with secure spring catches and a carrying handle. Inside is a rigid plastic tray with compartments to take all the various bits, which, with the foam overlay in place, seem to stay put.I found that the connectors, at least those I have used, to be of good quality. The tool proved easy to use and gives a neat very secure crimp. Incidentally (in response to another reviewer's "criticism") to open the crimping tool from storage, you only have to squeeze the handles gently and it will open ready for use. And to stow it after use, you again gently squeeze it just enough to close the jaws, no more. Always squeeze to open; the ratchet will act to prevent you from prizing it open by pulling the handles apart.

im a sparky and got fed up with replacing my crimper, these crimpers are top notch feel so sturdy and positive in your hand, the metal case it comes in seems very durable and a nice selection of crimps to go with it, all round a very good buy and I'm more than happy!

This is a quality set and again a case of getting what you pay for. Anyone who has tried to use crimping pliers (which can cripple you and do a poor job), plus poor quality crimps will appreciate that this set is bang on and contains the vast majority of crimp sizes to carry out most jobs. Nice one Draper - highly recommended.

I am doing my own camper van conversion, and this a great product for all the electrical work. Allows me to join the wiring, securely and insulated, giving the option to undo when required. Great product and works well.Only downside for me, is the ratchet crimper is a little difficult to open at first, from it's fully closed position.

Great item , I used to hunt through my tool box finding individual components & that crimping pliers, Now I just collect the box & every I need in one place , very pleased with it.

Only just received this kit so haven't tried it out, but looks sturdy and has a lot of connectors for all sorts of jobs.
