Setting up a new tank and didn't want to spend a lot on a light. We will see how well the plants do under this light. It is very bright and gives off a beautiful color in the tank. I will probably buy several more for the other tanks on this rack since you can connect them all together. It doesn't have a timer, but Im okay with that as it's just another thing that can cause these things to quit working. I will just use an outlet timer. Pretty happy with it so far. I Will update my review once I see how the plants like it.My only issue with it is that the base isn't quite as heavy as it should be. If you bend the light to far forward it wants to tip over. I put a rock on it for now, but it could also be slipped under the tank.The gooseneck is very sturdy and holds the light really well.

Does what it advertises. I gave it to my mother after I used it for a season. I upgraded to one with a timer, but she uses it with her citrus plant indoors now.

I had my cacti under a grow light but I realized it wasn't enough when the growth on my prickly pear was tall and skinny. Determined to start over I broke it off and came looking for a better light. It's visibility so much brighter but although its too soon for new growth after only a week or so my pricey pear has developed purple patches which is a sign of sun stress!

I like to cultivate small plants at home.I have tried different kinds of plant lights, and this is the most satisfying one. This LED plant light is very bright, like a little sun with full spectrum, I believe my plants will like it.The installation is super easy, the base is heavy and stable, you don't have to worry about that it will tip over.So far, this plant light is highly recommended.

My succulents and fly traps love this light. They have shown increased growth since I purchased it. Only word of caution is it can sunburn more light sensitive plants.

I bought this along with two other, less expensive but very similar grow lights. This light doesn't quite have the height of the less expensive lamps. The head doesn't tighten so I can't direct it at my plants correctly as it flops tp the side, nor does the height adjustment stay put - it's done by simply tightening the round collar on the vertcal rod but it doesn't hold well. I went to return it this morning but missed my window by a few days. Not worth it.

The light is bright and works well for nepenthes "tropical pitcher plants", but it gave my drosera light burn. Doesn't have a timer so i would reccomed buying one if you don't have it.

I have a some sundews, a tropical pitcher, and a Venus flytrap. The other light I had before was not bright enough, and the sundews were curling backwards. This light solved the issue. Great light with plenty of lumen.
