Great for Wood Shaping
This tool came in so handy for creating custom pieces for a wooden handrail. It was particularly useful for carving into shape fine details of a handrail end cap. It is good at removing lots of material very quickly, but once you get used to using, can be precise in creating fine details that are easily sanded smooth to finish.

As a artist and a woodworker I'm constantly looking for tools that will allow me the ability to do higher quality andmore detailed wpod work , unfortunately I haven't found the magical bits that make my work any good but I'll tell ya what, in the right hands, oh boy .I'm serious I have found some great tools and rotary bits over the last few years and I gotta say , you can't go wrong with Kutzall bits , Kutzall makes an incredible product , I highly recommend their bits , as well as the Kutzall grinding wheels / Disc for grinders , they are amazing amd I have yet to find a bit that I like as much for shaping wood , personally If I were you , and i was you but if i were you and i was looking for a great bit, I would remember the words of Stormbringer and I would go buy every bit they make and get started, break out a piece of wood and go at it and I promise you will not be disappointed. I swear the Kutzall family, should start paying me as a spokesperson , I'm not joking they should really hire me. I am recommending their products on a daily basis , seriously I am constantly telling everyone how great of a product they make, just as I'm telling y'all right now .They really do make a great product, you won't be disappointed.

If you’re looking at this you don’t need my help!
As always, I start by saying I wasn’t paid for this (or any of my) review, and I bought this with my own hard-earned cash. Now: If you are looking at this than high probability that you are into power carving, and doing so w a dremel tool or a hanging motor. It’s kutzall. If you haven’t tried one yet do so! They’re amazing!!!!I have a few bits of Kutzall, Saburrtooth, and Foredom typhoon and they all accomplish different approaches. The Kutzall extremes are like the St and typhoon... they remove lots of stock quickly and relatively smoothly. That’s why I’ve bought more Kutzall classics than St’s now.... I found I like the gritty carbide better than the spikes. It’s not as aggressive and it leaves a better finish to smooth out.So: now you’re wondering - do I get regular or fine??? That’s tougher. I love the fine... and if you’re working a soft wood (I do mostly basswoods) it’s like butter... but I used some fine on oak and it struggles a bit more.If you’re afraid the fine will load up faster than the reg.... meh. I haven’t really noticed. I do keep a natural rubber stick (to clean my sanding drums as well) around and it takes off most of the funk pretty quick. I’ve yet to need to burn out any of my K reg or fine’s.... but that’s me.I prefer fines for most things now a days.... tho if I had the cash I’d have sets of all three. But if you only need the occasional power stock removal and do mostly rough detail power carving (I do the fine detail w chisels/knives) I suggest instead 60grit diamond bits. You can find them on Amazon (I found 1 or 2 sellers) and they work fantastically!Hope that helps for those that are like me and actually depend on honest reviews rather than the fake trash we’ve ALL fallen for from time to time.Cheers-R
