Love this 100 years of Disney celebration set! I bought it for my 4 year-old nephew, who is obsessed with Mickey Mouse and, like the rest of the family, is a big Lego fan. Every aspect of the set is well thought through - particularly as a set intended for younger users just getting in to Lego.The build is basically a mini Disneyland parade, headed by a train driven by Mickey with three themed carriages representing a reasonable span of Disney movies and a nice mix of male and female characters. The detail to the minifigs is impressive, with front and back printed elements on torsos (and legs for some). I really like the heads on the animal characters, which remind me of the Fabuland Lego I had as a kid.The set is split over five bags, with the first four bags as numbered each creating one part of the train with accompanying characters, and the fifth Minnie Mouse, the little Disney booth and celebratory cakes.I like the fact that the build starts with Mickey’s engine. As soon as this part is completed there is a useable toy. The way this is structured as series of small builds creates easy break points for younger/less experienced Legoers like my nephew, and once you have the engine built it doesn’t really matter which order you make the rest of the mini sets in.My nephew thought the balloons doubled nicely as lollipops to go with his toy kitchen - which did highlight a risk of younger children potentially wanting to put these in their mouths, and needing a bit of extra supervision.Although designed for younger users this is a colourful Disney-themed classic with broad age appeal. High quality as always from Lego, and with good, clear, printed instruction booklets in full colour. There is also the option to use the walkthrough instructions on the Lego app (which adds a few mini animations, sounds, and 3D moving of components) if you want to integrate tech into the build but, at the youngest end of Lego’s recommended age range, my nephew was quite happy with paper.

We are so impressed with this Lego set my little boy has played with it for hours! Gets him away from screens and keeps his mind occupied. He is learning to follow written instructions and trying to build the train himself which I didn’t think would happen so quickly! The product is of a high quality and looks really nice, very good value for money and clear instructions to build

Bought for my granddaughter who loves Disney and Lego she was really happy with it. It was for younger kids but she wanted it to add to her collection of Lego. Very easy to put together.
