Hitachi400.300.20 Stackable Accessory Bit Set (24-Piece)

Bought for a friend at work. They seem decent and he’s not broken them yet so they’re pretty sturdy.

Great little ratchet kit, I use it daily it does get abused it is perfect for tight places.

Great little kit. I got mine for servicing boiler gas valves.

Micro ratchet retainer clips snapped completely off inside sealed packaging and the sockets, bits and ratchet assembly were all coated with a fine powder of rust.I had bought the 75mm bit set and was looking to collect and use all of the available Hikoki stackable accessories based solely on that purchase... but I definitely won't be doing that now.Cheap, nasty rubbish.

I ordered two items, both of them Hikoki bit sets.When they arrived, they were in an oversized box, with no filling in it so they were both rattling around freely.The first bit set was a 40030021 23-piece set, sealed in plastic and clearly newand the second was this bit set sold here which was not plastic wrapped but instead opened. And the 8mm socket was not only used, it was a used replacement, as can be seen in the picture.So no one paid any attention when packing that both bit sets were similar but one was plastic wrapped and the other wasn't?This is as muck flak towards the dip who uses and item and returns it as it is towards the seller for trying to pawn this off to me as "New"Both bit sets were also not the Hikoki/Hitachi green, but rather a sort of teal color. So that's not my camera being funky on the colors in the photo. That's what it looks like, and I'm pretty certain its a knock-off and not a actual real Hikoki bit set.The color on the logo was shoddy on both cases, the pieces didn't sit well in place and the bit tool felt off. The plastic case felt flimsy and cheap and was even broken on the bottom clips. (Unsure if that's the shipping or previous owner.)The only good thing was that there was no fuzz about sending the item back for a refund. I detailed it as the item being faulty with a discription saying it was clearly a used item and not new as described.Not sure if they'll just put it back on their shelf and sell it again anyways, so you might get my refunded bit set if you purchase this item. Fun!So in short:Don't buy! Chances are you'll get a used/broken item. And even if you get a new one. These are most likely bootlegs and not genuine Hikoki bit sets, shoddy quality junk!
