Could have been much better.
Now it could be that the particular book I received may have been substandard, but these are simply my thoughts on this book. The book arrived somewhat late, (approx. 5 day after I had received a dispatch email - but seeming as it's close to Christmas, I have overlook this). The book itself had a slightly damaged cover, (looked like moisture damage as a 1.5" "blister" had appeared on the cover and the packaging it arrived in was open at one end. Yes folks, I know it has a textured cover, but this was something entirely different and quite obviously damage caused during production or transit.Book review: The overall look of the book promised quite a bit and being an avid fan of Star Wars and something of a photographer, I was looking forward to receiving it. Upon opening the book, there is very little in the manner of script and description, just the odd line telling you what the scene is. The photos themselves, I found to be very dark and hard to make out any detail, (with the exception of the Hoth photos). This could be to make them atmospheric, but I personally thought they were just too dark to enjoy - this accounts for around 98% of the photos in the book. Also a fair proportion of the photos are macro, (close up), shots of stand alone minifgures, portrait shots if you wish, again very poorly lit in my opinion and not very interesting. There is a little chapter towards the end of the book, which I was hoping would go into detail about how the photographer produced the shots. He does offer some insight into the work, but not enough detail for me I'm afraid. Returned for refund.

Thought it would be better to be honest.
It's nice but a lot of the photos are very dark and I was expecting maybe something different. Most of the photos are of one character, narrow DoF and dark and a bit samey in style. You might love it though!

"this is the book your looking for" "lego on"
Vesa has created a number of action shots and dioramas using stars lego and some house hold products, the pictures are stunning and how some of the effects were created is detailed at the back of the book. This is not an instruction manual how to build but high quality photos of what can be.This is a great read / view for lego and star wars fans.

fantastic for the price paid
fantastic for the price paid. Good quality pictures therein and funny to boot. Pictures were a little dark though but that was a personal choice of the photographer.

Impressive
Really nice book with a wide range of themes from the movies - much more creative than most of the DK Lego books with a lot of effort into each shot.
