Creamy soft.
Bought these on a wimb when my normal go to brand was out of stock I needed a set ASAP for upcoming art class. So glad i did the quality of these are excellent they lay down smoothly. Very soft and you can use them as they are dry on dry or add water to.I like these alot and will use them more often the colours are nice. Only down side had was on arrival the crayons seemed to take a beating and they moved out the holding tray. No big deal no damage to package or crayons just moved around in transit.

Great product
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to know if these were similar to Caran D'ache water soluble crayons for some print experiments for learners. A strong pigment and range of colours that transfers well. The Crayons are also slightly thicker (girth) in comparison too.A Great purchase and value.

Surprisingly versatile.
These are pretty good. I wasn't getting along with standard watercolour paints so decided to try the smallest set of these. I was pleasantly surprised by their versatility, the colours blend really well and as a beginner artist I find them much easier to use than paint pans or tubes. The tin of 12 seems to give me plenty of scope for colour mixing but I would definitely consider a larger set at some point. Although the quality of the caran d'ache version is slightly better they are considerably more expensive and the Lyra cannot be faulted on value for money.

Quality, vivid, artist grade
I love these crayons, easy to use, stunning colours and great value for money. They are up there with far more expensive crayons, I also like that they are in a tin, would definitely recommend them 😊

Portable intense colours
I really like these water soluble wax crayons as they produce rich intense colours that make creating watercolour sketches while traveling a quick easy process. The range of colours is excellent and the crayons are generous in size which adds to their quality and versatility .

A sheep in wolf's clothing?
Bought these on the back of a positive review. They compared strongly with caran dache. How disappointed was I when trying to transfer colour onto various substrates. Had to apply significant pressure and the blend ability was poor. I now wish I had bought the other brand being reviewed but they are now double the price. Never mind I also bought a cheap Reeves brand basic colours but oh such a dream to apply.

Lyra watersoluable crayons
As good as Caran D’Ache neocolour but cheaper. Nice colours and good for mixed media . I am pleased with them.

Really disappointed
I'm amazed this product has received good reviews... The crayons are hard, not even remotely close to the big brand they're trying to imitate. The colours are sad, pale, difficult to layer. They leave harsh lines on paper that can't be removed with blending. Wish I could get money back, what a waste.
