I have tried several pairs of clippers that claim to be made for thick toenails that I bought from other stores and all of them fell short of their purpose. They came sharp and shiny and ready to use the moment you open the package, they came with a glass file as shown in the picture, and they also came with a cute little velvet pouch to carry or store them in, they are small enough for your pocket ir purse and also have a little bar thing in the middle that holds them open and you just simply release it when you are done and want to close them, they are so easy to use there's no problems at all pushing them down to clip your nails you use very little force to clip with them, they open wide enough to fit the thickest of nails and they clip through the thickest of nails with ease like a hot knife going through butter so easy, and they are made to fit perfectly in your hands so I'd you're like me and have fumble fingers these are perfect for you. I couldn't be any happier about the decision to purchase these. Absolutely will buy from now until forever. They are well built and well put together and in my opinion they seem like they are made to last a long time. Great for gifts also.

These are the best clippers I've ever had. I use them for both fingernails and toenails. They are very solid and well built. They are the sharpest clippers I've ever felt and cut easier than any clippers I've ever had. The swivel makes them much easier to use than traditional clippers. I thought the tiny little file was hilarious, but my wife informed me that it is a very good file. I highly recommend these clippers.

These clippers are very sharp and very easy to use and are a very high quality.

Easy to use. One of the main reasons I chose these is the wide opening. However, they may be a little too wide, as I caught some skin a couple of times. Only used once, so after I get used to them that problem will probably dissipate.

I have always HATED cutting my toenails. The toenail clippers I had were pain to use and usually left my toenails looking "chewed by aliens." However, these clippers (1) work, (2) are easy to use and (3) are easy to store. Even if you are not a "senior," if your toenails are troublesome, I recommend these clippers!

These clippers are very sharp and since you get 3 different styles you will be able to clip hard to reach places. Also came with a file which is sturdy and worked great to makes your nail smooth.

The media could not be loaded.  I have neuropathy in my right hand and arm and can't use most nail clippers. These were VERY easy to swivel into position and press, and are sharp enough to cut through thick nails easily. It also came with a metal nail file that has two sides, one finer grit than the other. Great price for a high quality item.

Assuming you can access your feet to work on them, these clippers are easy to use. They will easily cut through very thick nails. But be careful - that degree of cutting power will also easily cut your skin.
