Perfect fit
A bit more expensive than some other alternatives, but was an exact replacement for the original seal. Was easy to fit with a bit of washing-up liquid to help it to push into the slot.

I wished I had seen the one star review which said:"The door seal came promptly, and was easy enough to install on our Stoves EFA600H (Model 058585102), but now the top of the door doesn't shut flush, or even close to it.Got an Oven Engineer out, he confirmed that the seal is fitted perfectly, but it's the wrong seal. And the official Stoves website doesn't even have an alternative! Infuriating".This was also my experience (except I didn't get an engineer out).I have found this seal is so difficult if not impossible to source online!

Stoves Sterling range cooker 1000.
The original oven seal was a bit fiddly to remove when starting as it broke up several times but got easier towards the end realising the inner oven lining moved a little releasing the pressure on the rubber, when fitting the new seal starting at the bottom centre working clockwise a small screwdriver was helpful inserting this carefully into the slot ahead of the seal just moving the inner lining over a little making it easier to insert,I made sure that the starting end was cut squarely so the receiving end when cut created a good seal, very pleased and can recommend as I shall be buying another for safe keeping, this is for my wife's STOVES Sterling range cooker 1000.

Perfect fit.Check the cross section of the old seal against the new seal, remove a little of the old seal at a time as you press in the new seal. If it's too tight put a little bit of fairy on it. Its simple stuff. If your oven door does not close properly check that the seal is pressed in all the way around. If the door still is not flat against the oven then maybe you need new door hinge/springs like I did.Contact any good oven fixing rep (I did through Stoves the website) book a day and he'll come out and fix your seals and change your springs for about UKP70.

Easy to Fit
I was thinking of buying a cheaper seal but I'm glad i bought this. It was well worth the money. It is good quality. It was easy to pull out the old oven seal which was damaged and then it was easy to put this seal in (once i figured out how to do it). The only thing that would have helped was a few instructions with pictures on how to fit it, as I had to figure out how to do it myself (at first i thought the seal was the wrong size). But once you start to pull your old seal out (slowly) you will be able to see how it fits.

Works, quite expensiveand a bit wasteful.
Very faffy to fit but does the job once it's in.As others have commented, the length supplied is more than enough for the main oven but not enough for the top oven as well. So, we're having to buy (and waste) about an extra 20% (estimate, from memory).
