Teeth feel, as what I believe teeth would feel like, if a shark lost a tooth and someone found it in the ocean. I do not believe these come from a shark farm where teeth are pulled from the shark for jewelry.The package comes with the teeth on little metal attachments so you can make jewelry and look like a beach bum. If you are on holiday in Florida, this will not make you look like a local. No Florida local wears shark teeth but keep them in boxes secured safely at home. I would use caution carrying several around in your hand at once. If you trip and fall, you will have the unfortunate event of shark teeth in your hand without the good story of being bitten by a shark.

Small shark teeth are really sharp, I really didn't think that through when I purchased these for my son's shark themed birthday party (party favor and craft - necklaces). I found myself apologizing to all the parents, "sorry for giving your 5 year old a weapon, please file them down when you get home!"They are cool and great quality.
