A great product for intended use and more...
I’m in my 30s with an early-onset condition that requires me to self-catheterize 5+ times a day. In the first few months, there was a lot of bleeding and discomfort, and I was trying anything I could to avoid a UTI. So I would apply antibiotic ointment to the urethra and cover with gauze after cathing. These have been a huge help. They’re reusable, very adjustable, and much more comfortable than elastic wraps or adhesive bandages, which can be too tight. While I can’t directly speak to holding an external catheter in place, the wide coverage, strong Velcro, and secure fit suggest they’d work well with little risk of leakage. They also come in a multipack, are hand-washable, and much more cost-effective than disposable wraps. Overall, they’ve made daily self-cathing easier and more comfortable. For anyone managing retention, leakage, or incontinence—whether for yourself or a loved one—I’d highly recommend giving these a try.

Works as described
I bought this to hold in place a condom catheter. It works very well. The catheter being used does have adhesive and additional adhesive is applied directly to the penis as well but still didn't stay on for the full 24 hours with a lot of movement and required something more. The only downside is that the velcro wears down after just a few washes. It does take some skill to use it correctly to get the right balance between snug enough and not too snug. Very important to place completely on the catheter and not on the skin.

I love the strap, it really helps keep the condom catheter in place!!

Keep snug.
It will work as long as penis doesn't retract then slips off.

No more tape!
I can’t recommend these highly enough. If you are using a Texas catheter (condom cath) these can take a LOT of hassle out of the process. No more tape catching hair or accidental pinching. As with anything there is a bit of a learning curve but these really do work if applied correctly. “Correctly” will be different for different people. We have vastly improved our process and stopped leakage and accidental pulling/dislodgment . If you are having difficulty with application just be patient. As a nurse having dealt with these over the years, I highly recommended using a leg band/tube holder as well.

Foley Stabilization Device.
The stickiness of the pad doesn’t last very long. It comes off in less than 3 days. For my husband, it’s constant need to stabilize the Urinary tube and it doesn’t last very long

Versatile for other needs
Not a lot of reviews on these but I grabbed them to hold a wire on a piece of pipe they did the job just great and the color was close to my needs

One wonders if the designers of some of this stuff actually ever uses or wears it themselves
Not so great. I applied this device carefully & not overly snugly, yet it seriously still abraded and left a small welt on my penis. This is a serious predicament (pun?) as I need to wear a condom catheter day & night and now I have a sore penis at the base. Also, the Velcro quality stinks and the material is not soft and friendly as promoted in the description. HERE'S my much better suggestion. Buy a roll of 1/2" wide (or 1" easy-tear to 1/2"wide) 3M Micropore Clear Surgical Tape - reference #1530S (Amazon or any pharmacy) and tear a 4-or-5 inch strip and snugly overlapping a bit wrap around the base (about an eighth inch from the condom's bottom edge). It's easy, quick and no fooling with the inferior Velcro & poor, insecurely holding design of this product. Cheaper in the long run and much superior to this product. Experiment. Also I have used 3M or NextCare etc. 1/2" lightweight, breathable first aid/medical "PAPERTAPE" which is ideal for securing bandages or dressings (or external condom) that must be changed frequently and on sensitive skin.I think I prefer the 3M "surgical" tape myself.
