No Sir! Do NOT buy this unless it is for looks.
Long story short. I'm trying to put together a 1911 that the Cartels would be proud of with alot of gold. I started out with a gold compensator from this manufacturer. After 12 rounds, the compensator was downrange. It got shot off.The Lug that hold it on was too soft and sheared off. I tried to return it but never heard back from this manufacturer.Shame on them.I bought this gold barrel bushing thinking it was the weight of the compensator or something. It looked good, but after 8 rounds it was beginning to shear off so I stopped shooting.The lug was also in the process of shearing off. This product seems to made of soft metal or aluminium.I purchased from Amazon this time though because of my experience with lack of communication from the seller.It is going back! It is a terrible part. DO NOT BUY IT.I have bought a bunch from the seller and they always get the parts to me, but don't buy this barrel bushing, or the "punisher style" compensator.
