Bought this to replace the first steam mop we've ever owned: the Shark Lift Away 2 in 1 which quit working after seven years of faithful service. We considered a couple of things when choosing the replacement: 1. We very rarely utilized the hand-held steamer configuration. 2. The weight. The PurSteam is significantly lighter than the 2 in 1.Pros: Very Simple: fill with water/cleaning solution and turn on and cleans more rooms per fill-up vs the Shark 2 in 1 I previously owned.Cons: The trigger mechanism does fatigue your hand, so if you have hand muscle/joint issues, this may affect your experience. Minus 1 star for Ease to use. The cord is noticeably shorter than my previous Shark 2 in 1. Changing outlets is not an issue for us so deductions here.Still gave the highest overall rating due its simplicity, performance, and price.

Attached to my review is my first use of the product. I recently had tenants at my property who I feel never clean the floors. If you were to walk barefoot on my laminate floors you would get this disgusting black residue on your feet. After one use in one room you can see it picked up a lot of filth that a lot of the other push mops do not remove. For the price it is extremely reasonable and does a very good job cleaning the floors. I did have issues in the beginning with the trigger mechanism to activate the floor cleaner. It was my own fault of course as I was not paying attention as I attached to the handle I had It twisted to one side. However, I was able to fix it by standing on the mop head gently pulling up and the handle was able to be removed. I fixed the positioning and the trigger mechanism works wonderfully now. I would truly give this a five-star review. The only downside that I have and it's just a personal preference is that I have to plug it in for every single room that I need to go to. However, it is exceptionally fast. It stays true to its word. It does heat and steam in about 30 to 45 seconds. I think the only issue would be the height. It's just not meant for a guy who's 6 ft tall. I still have to kind of hobble over. But otherwise I am very happy with the product

Cleans well. Mostly best used on smaller surfaces such as bathroom floors , etc as water tank is a bit small. Product is easy to use and assemble ! I also purchased the eucalyptus scented cleaner which I use after cleaning which gives the area a nice scent! Would recommend!

Didn't work, produced no steam, mop head stayed dry and can't take it apart to ship it back for a replacement or refund. Contacted Amazon, went through three service representatives and was told i would be refunded the purchase price and would not have to return the hunk of junk..although i'd rather Amazon has it rather than me to get rid of...But...empty promises....no refund and no replacement until i send the non-operational steamer back in the original boxes..

This steamer worked great, but stopped working after only 5 uses.

The steamer is easy to use. Once it is on and gets to the desired temp (which is fast) , it produces steam until you turn it off or it runs out of water (it has an alert so you can shut down your steamer), so multiple refills to clean multiple areas. Cable is way too short, unplugging and replugging along the way made it a bit annoying, for I have a routine already for when I vacuum that will not work with this product. But the results were great. No streaking or stickiness. Floors felt super clean to my feet. At first I found a bit heavy, but as I got used to it I found it very maneuverable.

I really liked the concept and enjoyed the steam mop when I first got it. It got the job done well and kept my hardwood floors cleaned. I would use it about 1-2 times a month in my apartment. I have only owned it for four months now and the unit stopped steaming, I don't really feel it heat up anymore either. I'm disappointed that I couldn't get longer use out of it. I don't see any way of contacting the manufacturer about warranty either so I guess I'm just out of luck. I don't recommend buying this.

I have had several steamers and this one is the best. Good price, looong cord, heats up quickly, easy to refill,and stands by itself. Very satisfied
