Very good.
Asked my hairdresser for a dark cool blonde balayage and got the weird bright yellow non balayage bleach job in the picture.Absolutely hated it, really clashed with my skin tone and didn’t want a light platinum look I’d get from a purple toner or shampoo so decided to try this in luminous pearl.I’m still not sure what I think about the result except to say it’s much better than it was but it does have a brown/grey look to it I feel rather than cool blonde.Posted pictures so people can judge for themselves as the pictures are very true to what my hair colour is before and after using.EDIT - after leaving this review and then reading about how long you leave toners on for I realised that I left this on way too long and the dark result I got is a consequence of this! After the first wash a couple of days after I had used the toner it washed up to a beautiful ashy darker blonde just like the picture on the box.

The only toner I like!
This is the only toner for me.The only thing to be careful with is how long you leave it on as it can darken the hair. So only leave it for ten minutes as it says! This means you need to work quickly. But I absolutely love this tone.

Toner review
I have used both the emerald and pearl toners after bleachingThe pearl really darkened my hair, I ended up with dark dirty blonde, even after washing the darkness only faded slightly but left me with warm brassy tones. I would not use again. The emerald did darken my hair to grey but after a few washes did lighten more to an ashy blonde, I would use this one againBoth were used on dry hair, next time I would probably use on wet hair so it doesn't process as quicklyDue to having thick hair it took 10 minutes just doing the roots, so if you have thick hair you will need 2 boxes

It did tone - but made my (orange gold) hair brown
I've included before and after photos - perhaps this was always how a anti-yellow toner would have worked on my orangey-golden bleached hair, turn it into a brown tone?I'm not mad at it, I quite like it, but it was not what I was expecting! It's definitely not orange now.

Turned random areas purple, others it didn't work at all and only some the correct shade.
As with all hair dyes and toners, this is always hard to get right as everyone's hair is different and in different conditions. I had already lightened my hair 6 months ago with Blonde It Up, so had some roots to redo, so went ahead and did that. My roots were brassy and my ends were lightest. Applied to the roots first and I was worried as nothing was happening at all for 10 minutes! Suddenly at 12 minutes I look in the mirror and some ends were purple! I rinsed out and my roots at least are not brassy now but not the colour I had hoped for, some areas are like on the box but a lot of mids and ends are purple. I am probably going to have to buy a semi permanent violet dye now to just rock the look for a few weeks until it fades with a few shampoos.

Can't complain
Considering I went from black hair to bleached I still had orange and yellow.this is absolutely amazing for anyone who does not want to bleach again in order to go blonde,I still have a little blue shampoo in my hair before I put this on but I highly recommend for anyone in a hair crisis with the orange ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Very disappointed
Small picture is how i left the salon 4 weeks ago after foils and tonner.. .. main picture is not luminous pearl with any stretch of the imagination it's so bad I wonder if the wrong colour was added to the box! The only saving grace is it's not permanent . I do not recommend this shade unless you actually want light brown hair

Great toner for brassy hair
This is a great toner and takes the grassiness out of yellow/ orange tinges in bleached hair.

The only one of this range I like
The Radiant Opal mutes all yellow in my hair and leaves it with a pearly tone, not ashy. If left for a long time it can tinge the hair purple but not an unsightly purple. And it washes out that purple with one shampoo. I don’t like the other toners in this range but this one is fantastic.

Good product
Not as easy to use as the foam ones, but still easy enough. Hair doesn't dry up which is good.

Don’t waste your money
Left it on for the max 20 mins and it did nothing to my hair. I have blonde highlights that were a bit too brassy for my liking so bought this toner. It didn’t change the colour at all. Not even a little. So all your paying for is hair damage, that’s all I got.

disappointing
A friend had used this product with great success but me? Such a disappointment. Instead of silver/grey tones I am now witchy white!
